I'm a regular there. If you have a specific question, just ask.

To upload a picture, click "upload picture" and fill in the form. Be careful with the category, and read the description carefully. If you're not sure if you have tjhe right category, browse around a bit first.

Rules are basically what you'd expect. Don't upload porn or other NSFW pictures. Don't flame people. Don't post a picture you didn't make. Don't use a picture without asking permission. So on and so forth.

The forums is very different from just about anywhere. No edit button. Search function only looks for threads 2+ years old. Remember to use the reply button, otherwise your reply will likely get lost. There's only 1 page of forums, so its very likely your thread will be lost quickly. It also leads to duplicate threads, so to avoid that just lurk for a week or two. (often repeated annoying theads are: traditional vs digital; how to become popular/increase pageviews; i want to be a mangaka so kawaii!; look at my page!; twilight bashing; digital camera vs non digital; vista problems; anime suxxors; death of creativity). They have their own tags, and the usual tags don't work. A lot of posters are /b/-tards, so a lot of memes from 4chan pop up.

Moderation is practically non-existent, especially in the galleries, so sometimes you'd see clear cut rules violations and flaming. Just ignore it.

It's free and it takes a few seconds to upload. While hitting it big there is very highly unlikely, it seems like a decent investment for some minor exposure. There are most likely better sites dedicated to photography, though.

Well one is for professional portfolio work, one is fanart and fun, the other is this original thing I'm working on.
They serve different purposes
