Yes, Shampoo was nominally under Kiima's control, but what I got from the page was that Shampoo putting Ranma into the egg was her own idea. And I thought it was pretty clear from the page, though it's been a while since I read the Saffron arc, that Shampoo intended to force Ranma into bed once he hatched out of the egg, which would effectively be raping him, even though he could easily overpower her physically if he was in his right mind. And she had absolutely no problem with this concept, whereas Mousse, who is *much* more frequently demonized in fanon, *rejected* mind-control as a viable way of winning Shampoo.

That's how I felt. Both that scene and the one's involving her threatening to plop off doll Akane's head can't be counted against her that much simply because it wasn't really her that was doing alot of it. But it doesn't mean that it doesn't show an important point about her personality, like when Ranma tried to kill Akane for being in the way when he was under control from the Koi Rod. You have to ask yourself there, could he have done that without the Rod's influence with someone who Akane liked?

Who is this he you are talking about? This is a thread about Shampoo. and many if not all the things you listed don't fit with what Shampoo does in canon.Necavit wrote:Well we know he gets jealous eaisly.
I mean hes willing to crossdress and mess with someone's head just to keep them away from Akane.
Would he get violent though... Not to the degree of killing, its not in his nature.
He would try to beat the guy up, if he was a martial artist, and he would probably try some tricks to get Akane to break up with the guy. Like getting in a dress and pretending to be his fiancee.
But he wouldnt go overboard like in the Koi road.
I agree that it had completly taken over Ranma, he was willing to die and kill for Ryoga. There was nothing of Ranma left.
