Hello,

I'm looking for any pieces of fanfiction where Ranma decides to enroll in the police force. The two I can think of off the top of my head are:

Guardian, and its "spin-off" Millennium. Both can be found in the library link on Black Dragon's homepage. Very funny stuff.

I assume private organizations are out, so no Gatekeepers, Hellsing, Full Metal Panic, or XMen type ones. Stargate is military, as is Robotech/Macross and XCOM.

I know I've seen one where Ranma somehow managed to be teamed up with Riggs (Lethal Weapon). o_O Also, some with Ghost in the Shell. I think all of those are somewhere on ff.net, too. I just tried searching for them, but ff.net's search engine seems to despise me.

Does Fire's BGC story where Ranma literally became Nene after the Great Quake count?

Is 'Hyper Police 12' (Hyper Police 1/2?) a Hyper Police crossover? I've wondered if someone was ever going to cross that with Ranma. Then again, I've also wondered about a You're Under Arrest crossover... how the Ranma crew would react to Aoi, for example, and certain other characters. (Okay, I'll also note that I have a R/YUA crossover premise or two buried in my notes somewhere, but that's probably as far as I'm ever going to get.

Hrm. And that question someone posted earlier today about Zettai Karen Children fanfics got me thinking about a possible Ranma cross as well, darnit. :lol:

It is. Though sadly quite dead.

Only Ranma/Aoi interaction that comes to mind is a scene buried in 'Suikoden One Half' by MadHat886. Chapter 24 I think.

Thanks for the responses. I was mostly looking for cop fics, but ones where he joins a military or pseudo military orginization are fine as well.

Mike Koos, I think the Ghost in Shell fic you mentioned is probably the Future Memory series by Taybk.

Ling was writing a Ranma-as-a-rozzer series called Catharsis when she decided to distance herself from anime fanfiction. Unfortunately for us, it means that Fragments is a bitch to find, and I don't know of any mirror of what was written of Catharsis.

The latest archive of her site is from way back in '03, and is a mess. There's a few chapters here, and what's meant to be the latest version of the story (it's an image map, move the mouse around), but good luck finding anything more really. It was about 6-7 chapters in anyway. It was a good one, though, so if anyone has an archived copy...
