Ranma and Kurama like family

Is Ranma actually Kurama's brother in this one? It sounds similar to one I read a while back except for the last part, but it could have been updated since I last read it. If it is the one I'm thinking of I think I can find it, but don't want to go to the effort if that is not what you are after.

That's disappointing. The story I was thinking of was just starting to get good when it stopped updating. I would have been quite happy if it had updated since I left it. Only the last two chapters were really good, but authors tend to continue getting better, not worse.
