Re:

That sounds HILARIOUS. I really like the ideas. The only suggestion I can make is to reconsider Kakashi's mysterious new technique. There just seems like no way that the Sharingan could do something like that unless Gai was hypnotized into dreaming the whole thing. Perhaps some kind of malfunctioned...

Re: Xiaolin Showdown/Ranma crossover

Only if you give the kids massive power-ups. Am I alone in the notion that something is amusing BECAUSE of the fact that a group of people is too weak to ever win? You know, they keep trying and trying but constantly fail, type thing? Kinda like crossing over DBZ with Power Rangers. ::shudders:: No...

Xiaolin Showdown/Ranma crossover

Well, I've recently been watching Xiaolin Showdown, and I was struck by how compatible it is with Ranma. I have looked around, and have so far only found one crossover. It turned out to be the type of thing that I wasn't interested in. So, I've been tossing around a few ideas of my own. This is what...

Re:

Amerielah - few things I'd like to address Ranma didn't give the dragon whisker to the old men for a simple reason, Ranma still needed it to prevent his hair from growing uncontrollably and going bald. Ranma often does things without expecting a reward. When he expects a reward it is only becuase h...

I never said Ranma is perfect, I was mostly generalizing. But I think more what I was trying to get across is that Ranma is amazingly good compared to how he was raised and the circumstances he lives in. I didn't think you did. I do think that you see Ranma in a far more positive light than I do, t...

Re:

Perhaps it's one of the reasons I never much liked bugs bunny and daffy duck cartoons (where often a relatively innocent character takes punishement) but liked Tom and Jerry and Roadrunner cartoons (where the one who suffers from the slapstick is usually trying to eat or otherwise hurt the clever, ...

Re:

From a school tech-club t-shirt. Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups. Heard this on camp recently. If practice makes perfect, and no-one is perfect...why practice? Heard from a friend. Everybody is stupid. Some people are just marginally less stupid than others. From my in...

Re:

I've yet to see 'Ghost in the Shell' and 'Akira'. According to several of my more otaku-ey friends, that is very bad. I'm finally catching up on Sailor Moon, though. That makes me very happy. Oh, and I've only seen a couple of episodes of Card Captors Sakura. There's a whole lot more, of course, but...

Himitsu's the one who'll try to steal your wallet. When you look around in Spamville, I will say that you'll need weapons.. Lots of weapons.... I will most definitely keep that in mind. Will...an army of milktarts do? ::gestures to army of delicious pastries armed with...um...fuzzy, green stuff tha...

Re:

Hi, complete newb, but I still have to give my two cents in. :D I agree with several of the previous replies: Ranma is a slapstick comedy that doesn't take itself seriously in the least. Heck, even when Ranma is supposedly seriously injured by his 'abuse', he's perfectly fine the next time we see hi...

Hello all

God, are introductions awkward or what ? I'm never quite sure what to do with these things, ya know? So, where to begin? Hmm... Hi everybody! I'm a 16-year-old girl with far, far too much time on her hands. Okay, maybe not that much time-- more like I have a rather frustrating tendency to occupy my ...
