The difference is that a subcategory doesn't show up on the page when you first open the site. A top level category does, but needs subcategories to actually work in.

I'm going to make it a subcategory of Creative for now, and we'll see how that works out.

In that case, I don't see why we can't just open a new forum topic for it here. After all, everyone already has the permissions needed to post as they please on this site. No need to duplicate it in the wiki.

Agreed. That's why I disabled open registrations for this forum. If there are open editing and posting rights on a web site, it's guaranteed that scammers and spammers will take advantage of it by having bots scan for and break into the system.
