Re: Ranma "Classics"

I'm only moving off of FF.net now because their advertisement policies and worsening text filters are making things difficult...and its slow to move all 51 of those stories

also...trying to sell my original stuff...

Re: My Fanfic Move

because if I just save it all from ff.net (and for some reason I can keep most italics and bold commands), it's still one lump sum of text which I can't just paste onto the web-builder and expect to separate itself...If I save otherwise, then put it up, the html is fine, but now I've lost my sidebar...

Re: In Regards to Anime Adventure

again, agreed....I still get a lot of useful commentary out of the site, however, and I note that KLSymph has only allowed one starting storyline to last unmoved to Deluge or undeleted since he put in his rules, and that's never been continued...and from my conversation with him, he is confident tha...

Re: My Fanfic Move

There is a way to keep everything on fanfiction.net . But even they keep truncating things. If you want to keep itallics bolds select the whole text on the screen then View Selected Source. It will have the tags still where all of that is. And you can do a find replace in most word processors that ...

Re: My Fanfic Move

figured it might be, I lost any right to carry a "tech-savvy" title a long time ago...however...I don't trust any program to make a judgment call as to where one scene ends and another begins...most of the time it can be found where I put a line separator, but in some cases, I separated di...

Re: My Fanfic Move

Sorry, don't really know what CSS is. I haven't actively maintained a website since around 98 or 99. I have no idea what sort of developments have come up since then save I know the name "java". So this is my first return to this sort of thing in over a decade...sorry if everything you're ...

Re: In Regards to Anime Adventure

I wouldn't so much mind his desire to have a higher quality/stricter requirements thread there, but I do object to the necessity of carrying the "Restart Deluge!" label just because KLSymph doesn't think it matches what he thinks should be there.

Re: My Fanfic Move

I'm using the web-builder software provided by webs.com. So, I'm basically creating a new page, telling it to create a content box, pasting material into the content box related to one scene out of a chapter, then creating a new content box. I don't every really look at the coding involved. So the p...

Re: In Regards to Anime Adventure

Currently, unless you add to a pre-existing thread or else are willing to have "Restart Deluge!" added to all your posts on that thread, you have to meet a set of standards that KLSymph got in talking to commercial publishing houses as regards plans and intents
