Re: Mondu's random fanart v 2013

Very nice so far. I'm looking forward to seeing everything when you add textures.

Re: Mondu's random fanart v 2013

While the vest looks fine by itself, on the model the arm holes look too small. On a real person, they'd be chafing the person's armpits. It doesn't look that way now, but I'm imagining what would happen when the arms and shoulders were hanging in a normal, relaxed posture instead of being raised.

Re: Mondu's random fanart v 2013

The top of the skirt is supposed to fit up at the bottom of her rib cage instead of her waist? That's where it looks like it begins, anyway.

Re: Mondu's random fanart v 2013

Haven't seen any pleats yet, but the ruffles are looking good. Like the shoes and boots much more than the sandals you tried. Will there be a complete character any time soon?

Re: Your Anime Collection

I suppose I could chime in here, but the idea of trying to list the shows I have is intimidating. Let's just say I've been collecting anime since UruseiYatsura was the newest show being broadcast, and leave it at that.

Re: Computer related questions

Is it possible to record TV programmes on my hard drive (the computer is already connected to the TV with a HDMI cable)? If yes, do you any programmes that can do that? Yes. If a computer can be connected to something, someone has probably figured out a way to use it to do things. A simple web sear...

Re: Computer related questions

If plain water doesn't work, then I usually recommend the solutions sold for cleaning eyeglasses. There are commercial cleaning solutions for LCDs, but I have yet to find one that doesn't leave behind major streaking. Also, it's recommended to use microfiber cloth for cleaning LCD screens to avoid s...

Re: Favourite Youtube videos v2.0

Okay, seems like Konsaki didn't get the memo. Do not post links outside the forum without a YouTube title or a description. "This is my current fav" does not qualify. Let people know what to expect on the other end of the link. That goes for any links posted in any topic. If I see another ...

Re: Favourite Youtube videos v2.0

Oh, and just to keep from being a total wet blanket, here's one of my own.

The Cirque du Soleil production "Varekai" had an act called the Triple Trapeze. The music for it was a song called "Kèro hiréyo", which I never get tired of.

Re: Favourite Youtube videos v2.0

This "Favorite YouTube Videos" idea is a new trend in topics, so we never had to make rules to cover the concept. However, it has generated a complaint, albeit a mild one, and that's one complaint too many. When you post a link to anywhere , please post a description of the content so that...

Re: Computer related questions

Depends on how sophisticated the delivery system is for the payload. Most of them depend on you opening the attachment, and try to use various methods to prompt you, such as the infamous "your package could not be delivered" mails. Some, however, are put together so to take advantage of co...

Re: Computer related questions

Thx. I'll look up the information at home. The motherboard is probably from Dell since I get the Deel lofo when the computer boots. That just means a Dell branded copy of Windows was used to install the operating system. It does not necessarily mean Dell hardware is involved. You can use Piriform S...

Re: Computer related questions

So, I should just buy Windows 7 64 bit and 8 Gb RAM? The AM is cheap. Amazon has 8 Gb RAM at 35 €. However, Windows 7 is damn expensive. It's still the same price it was 3 years ago: 120 €. THat's simply unacceptable. Now that Windows8 is available shouldn't the price go down? Don't just rush to bu...

Re: Computer related questions

If you upgraded your operating system to Windows 7, then there's no way to know how old it really is. Installed hardware could be older than the build date. If Windows 7 is the original OS, then you know it's no more a couple of years old. If you were still on the original OS, then you could have ch...
