Star Trek the trials of the Proteus

Here’s idea for a sci fi crossover story featuring some of my favorite shows. This was inspired by the story rifts though I had been tossing around Star Trek x-over story for some time in my head.

Chapter 1

Set in the year 2380 a new promethus class vessel is launched, the vessel has been upgraded with features from Voyager after it had returned home. It’s first mission is fairly simple pick up supplies from DS9 and head to into the gamma quadrant assist in negotiations with the founders. The vessel also has a mission from Star Fleet Intellegence the details of which are only known to the command staff.

Do to the recent appearance of subspace anomalies in the proximity of Dominion territory the captain (who is an OC of mine) along with an escort of Dominion craft goes and investigates.

When the crew gets there they find the heavily damaged Strike and Freedom Gundams(whose presence will be explained latter). The detect faint life signs. After Transporting the pilot to sickbay they tractor the two machines in, due to heavy radiation the Freedom is placed under quarantine. As they continue to study the anomaly in-depth a large ship comes through the Proteus(the name of the Promethus class vessel) is hailed.

First encounters don’t go so well they now heavily damaged ship passes through the anomaly in process becomes even more damaged. After transit the the captain orders the anomaly closed. They collapse the anomaly after the fact the captain faints.

A passing vessel arrives and offers a safe haven for the wounded ship. Meanwhile lightyears away in same Universe Lord Vader is called before the Emperor. The Emperor informs Vader about a set of new toys he recently acquired. The Emperor escorts to the lower levels of Corasant and shows Vader an army of mechanical men (that sci fi fans would recognize!) Called the Cybermen. The Emperor shows Vader something even more soul clenching inside a large vault that even Vader force awareness can penotrate as the doors open one word burns itself into Vader’s mind. “EXSTERMENATE!”

Well that’s basic outline of the first chapter the Star wars stuff is set sometime after the battle at Yavin but, before The Empire Strikes back. The Cybermen and the beings the burnt the word Exstermenate in Vader’s mind are from Doctor Who more specifically The Cybermen who where sucked into the void by the tenth doctor who himself won’t make a direct appearance.

Part one will shift back and forth between the Star wars uni and trek uni by the end of the second chapter the Federation will be in very onesided war with the Empire. Part one will end with the destruction of the second death star (events will play out differently than canon). When Proteus makes it back home in part two it will have undergone some changes a guerilla war will insue between the Empire and the Federation remnant with a side of klingons. Aslo the mystery of subspace anomaly will be full explained though it will be alluded to in part one.

Part three will get things started with a call for help in Star wars uni a three way tug-o-war will have begun between three factions the Proteus A (the first Proteus will be destroyed in part two). Will make it’s way back only to receive an unexpected visitors one of the which is the Doctor! The Doctor and the other visitor (tossing around ideas still not sure who) will send the two of the warring factions back where they belong.

After the end of part three The Doctor and the other visitor will leave and seal the anomalies for good leaving the Proteus A in the Star Wars Uni. The remander of part four will be the clean up of the mess.
