Point: since the gates show so many timelines, in some of them Ranma/Beryl would die, yet there is not a single Crystal Tokyo timeline. Will Setsuna realize this, that killing Ranma/Beryl will not ensure CT?

I would think that the Musk or Phoenix people would be a better choice for remants of Beryl's forces from that time, with the Amazons being relative newcomers to the region.

Hey Ozzy, try not to take this the wrong way, because i'm serously not trying to flame or anything.
The thing is, this chapter goes kinda against the usual way you write. Normally, you're full of origional ideas, and new twists on old ideas. But this one, it just... isnt. You have the often used 'Ranma gets mad, beats the crap outa Akane' bit you find in most angry fic, 'Pluto is a manuplituve bitch with no conchence' that you see in 3/4 Sm crossovers, 'Ranma hears voices/has an evil side influencing him' that you see often too.
So, you might want to stear away from the bloodthirsty Ranma in later chapters, or run the horible risk of having a fic that is less than your normal awesome.

You seem to be forgeting that unless you go complete OOC you need a handfull of events to happen to justify the change in how someone behaves. While there are ways to come up with compleatly new ideas some are simply proven to work and are realistic concidering the situation.

Atlan has good points. I have no beef with the first scene where Ranma is temporarily possessed, since that's what the story seems like it's gonna be about. It was already alluded to that his girl form hasn't been normal for a long time, that it's been more intelligent. You could chalk that up to fewer railroad ties to the head... or to the influence of Beryl's mind. In the latter case, this isn't out of the blue, and is potentially the culmination of Beryls efforts to slowly train Ranma to believe that what he thinks in girl-form is better... and perhaps to be trusted over what he feels normally.
I don't really understand the purpose of the Setsuna scene.. the whole fanon Setsuna-scrys-timelines-through-the-gates thing is kinda stale. And it's not even necessary; if it's important that the Senshi know that something's fucked up with the future.. the last time that happened, Chibi-usa started fading. Unless Setsuna is going to be a central figure in the story, why bring her and the Gates of Time into it?

All Ozzy's fic (with senshi in them) have one similarty, Setsuna is always at the heart of the storm.
I guess, our honored author, sees her as the eye (or pupetteer) of the senshi.
