FREAKs of Alchemy (Hellsing/Buso Renkin)

For submitting and talking about story ideas. Idea submissions must be at least five paragraphs long, and include plot points, summaries of which characters are involved, and, for fanfiction, how it differs from canon. Both original and fanfiction ideas welcome. Though original works should have more development. Replying posts must give actual commentary, no "GREAT IDEA" or "THIS SUCKS".

FREAKs of Alchemy (Hellsing/Buso Renkin)

Here's another crossbreed plot bunny I've been raising. Hopefully this one will get more reaction than the previous one did (Read: any).

The leader of SS Millennium, known only as the Major, hears rumors of some unusual creatures that were sighted around a high school in Japan. He sends his chief scientist, a man known as the Doctor, to investigate, and he makes an unusual discovery.

In the ruins of the headquarters of the organization known as L.X.E., the Doctor finds notes about a lost science known as Alchemy, and the process to create creatures known as homunuculus. He decides to take this research and see if he can combine it with the vampire-creating FREAK chips.

Some months later, alchemic warriors find themselves facing homunuculi that are trained to fight as a unit, rather than as individuals. Homunuculi whose partially eaten victims turn into zombies under their killer's command. At the same time, Hellsing and Iscariot find themselves facing FREAKs who are highly resistant to daylight and have to be practically torn to pieces before they finally die. A chance encounter between Hellsing and the alchemic warriors reveals that these monsters are one and the same.

Will the two sides be able to pool their resources in time to find a practical way of fighting the new FREAKs? Will Iscariot consider the Arms Alchemy used by alchemic warriors to kill homunuculi to be a tool of the devil and try to eradicate it? Can vampires use Kakugane? Would the alchemic warriors trust Alucard with a Kakugane if the answer is yes?

Does the fact that Kazuki's heart got torn out and replaced with a hexagonal block of metal make him technically undead?

Edit: Possible entry point for the story: One of the new FREAKs is the priest at Cheddars. An alchemic warrior shows up around the same time as Alucard, and uses a Kakugane to replace the lung that Alucard destroys when shooting through Seras.
