Before I start with my idea here is my thought process of how it came out.

After reading the Idea for Nerima Police stories it lead me off on a train of thought. went like this: reminds me of that fic of Black Dragon's, Too many characters, not feasable to have that many "super powers" in one area, reminds me in a way of Marvel Civil War... Idea!

The Idea is this:

To combat the rising property damage of Tokyo (matchstick city), the Diet decides to 'enlist' some of the more trustworthy (rated unlikely to do collateral damage on purpose), honorable (rated to not likely kill innocents intentionally), and friendly (rated as approachable without risking death), people who have the ability to deal with the dangers (monsters, demons, insane martial artists) that threaten the people (ability to get re-elected).

As such the current Director of Japanese Internal Security places a new branch of police, seperate from the normal forces, and accountable to one person, the Chief of Tokyo Abnormal Threat Police (Double Pun intended)(AT Police, Pun on AD Police) (the name describes both the "threats" and the police.

The Chief of AT Police is Setsuna Meio, although not an officer she applied for the position and recieved it for unreleased reasons that are classified to all but her.

Each Ward has selected "superheros" drafted into the force on one of the following threats: Telling their parents, Deported, Making them liable for damage caused, or taking away all their weapons/upgrades.

Juuban has the Sailor Senshi
Nerima: Ranma, Nuku Nuku, Ukyo or Shampoo, Lum, Shuutarou Mendou, and Tatewaki Kuno

I haven't thought any further then this.

reasons for selection for Nerima

Ranma (obvious)
Ukyo (Ukyo would be less likely to cause Ranma problems then others, besides Soun is on the "Town Council" and probably could keep Akane off the team if she was called)
Shampoo (out of potential troublemakers I can see her and Lum not getting along, or getting along too well [envisions Shampoo electrocuting Ranma saying "Arien no baka"])
Nuku Nuku (an element to make the team more varied)
Kuno (The friction between him and Mendou is just too much to resist)
Lum (What could go wrong with a bikini wearing babe hanging around with Ranma? </sarcasm>)
Mendou (again the carnage between him and Kuno needs to be written, i don't think it has)

Mendou and Kuno are both self rightous rich jerks, Kuno has plenty of political power, but would see his presence here as the "hero leader" of the group. Mendou is slightly less competant but would be here under pressure from his parrents to not shame the family. Plus the fact he has an army of semi capiable minions to do his dirty work.


This is another of my p for grabs ideas, but it is similar to so much out there I doubt its worth it.

I still havn't seen an idea put together like this one build a creditable threat. I mean who's the enemy why even assemble the force? Just to have them keep fighting the same fights they already had without the force? Where's the motivation for the Gov beyond attempts to reduce property damage? It has to have a little more rationale and an enemy to make it worthwhile.

Nerima is one of the 23 special wards of Tokyo
Juuban is not one of the 23 special wards.

It's part of Minato Ward like Furinkan and Tomobiki are parts of Nerima Ward (though Juuban is real while Furinkan and Tomobiki are fictional)

Hmmm. For almost a year i work on idea that pretty similar to WarGiver's one . Of course, it no exactly the same, but main idea seems close enough.
