Nah, it's just that you're right. Many people would probably be turned off at first due to the damn 'poke-girl' stories. There's also the fact that I already have two stories where Ranma is young, one where he looks physically three years younger, only two where he looks the same age, and one where his cursed form is older.

The reason for him/her being young in Ralts form is because, well, Ralts is a child-looking pokemon. I can't imagine his/her Ralts form looking 16.

Edit: Then again, Ranma could just be shorter in the Raltz form. Not de-aged, but just about a foot shorter or so shorter.

I see your reasoning for the age thing there, but I do think it's unfair to him to stick as 6 years old physically for the rest of his life if the "Ralts" thing never "grows old". If he looks young forever, who is gonna take him seriously as a martial artist? You see my point?

To be honest, I have no knowledge of pokemon beyond watching a bit of the first season when it was first shown, so I couldn't really suggest a different pokemon to mix him with instead that has similar abilities.


However, I think you already have enough fics on the go to shelve the idea until a much later date. Get some finished before starting more. It's a bad thing to fall into the trap of writing too many at once. Just look at innortal for example, he's got a couple dozen fics and I don't think he's finished a single one, some haven't even gotten past a couple chapters.

That's true. It's like my story Against the Wickedness. It's currently at just one chapter -- although I do have a chapter two in progress. Ectoplasmic Arts is at three.

Yeah, maybe I will wait until a later date when my other stories are farther along. In the meantime, I'll just think up ideas that could be put on a back burner for a while.
