Cabbits still have cat faces. So maybe with Miyahing and being right up in Ranma's face out of curiosity and maybe worry about the new guy possibly rejecting her.

Don't forget prolonged exposure of a few min with shampoo on her face was enough for Ranma-chan fighting against Shapoo's Grandmother that one time.

I mentioned that one.... But that is a case of Ranma WANTING to go into the Neko-ken.

The thing is, El Hazard is technically part of the Tenchi Muyo canon, according to the creators.

LawOhki, you're right. Cabbits will still freak him out, but I've actually hit a brainwave. As I've said, I want to have Ranma have a couple nekoken incidents just for the hilarity of it. I just remembered that I'm importing a large part of El Hazard's cast.

Normal cats, as noted, don't really freak Ranma out at the end of the manga. Ura appears to be a normal cat, but Ura can also talk, grab hold of Ranma so Ranma CAN'T get rid of him and is nigh indestructible.

I can't be certain, but Ura probably counts as Nightmare Fuel for Ranma. The fact Ura is going to be latching onto the boy to save his life in high-stress incidents is NOT going to help Ranma's concentration any. :3

Might want to have a couple other cats around even if they are OC or a Mau cameo. I just watched that Suggestion Mushroom (Sneeze me squeeze me please me) episode again. He was repeatedly stuck hugging that one cat because of sneezes. Already freaked out for not having control over his body added to that...

It could happen while fighting a super-powered band of Mau pirates. That would, I believe, be enough to trigger the outbreak. Cats snarling as they attack him, cats yowling as they hug him (while protecting him), vast amounts of property damage as not a single one of the feline terrors GOES DOWN...
