All the information I've been able to find says that Dark Berserker is actually much less of the threat than normal Berserker. According to Wiki after being consumed by Shadow he's life blind and crippled. I think I read somewhere that the interaction of his divine heritage and the corrupting nature of Shadow don't mix well. Same reason that Gilgamesh vanished rather than being corrupted after being consumed by Shadow.
(Which actually suggests that other than Saber it would be counter-productive to try and corrupt any of the Servants other than Archer or Assassin (Koujiro that is). The Hound of Ulster is a demi-god in his own right like Gilgamesh and Heracles and both Medea and Medusa are descended from gods as well.)

That's a good point actually. I knew Berserker was weakened after being devoured by the shadow. I didn't know it was the result of his divinity. Interesting...

I can tell you right now, my biggest problem when I write fanfiction is when I'm trying to get from point A to point C, I end up getting stuck on point B.

To answer your question, on pen and paper it seems alright. In practice... well, you'll just have to see for yourself. A detail may be off or a scene just doesn't seem to work right... I don't expect you to follow every rule Nasuverse throws at you and God knows there's a lot of them. Hell, I even learned something new just now.

My only advice I can think of right now would be if Sakura ends up having to explain the Holy Grail War to Ranma, don't skip out on the scene. Not everyone that's going to read your fic is going to have knowledge of fate/stay night so that information may be vital to the reader.

Secondly, It may be a good idea to get a good understanding of Ranma's character. This idea doesn't leave much room for Ranma content. If he's acting too OoC, people may be turned off by your fic.

I know that no matter how well I'll plan the story, a lot of it will change when characters start to interact and live their lives. (if I have a deep enough understanding of them)

About Ranma, my knowledge about his character is constantly improving. I hope the year I spent enjoying Ranma 1\2 anime, manga and fanfics (especially three months I spent writing my own fic) will help me with that

I know that a link exists between Master and his Servant, but can Master feel through that link what is happening with his Servant and vice versa?
I remember Saber saying something like this, but i'm not sure.

In the anime, Rin's hand started to hurt when Archer was taking a beating during his fight with Berserker. Dunno if it gets more specific than that, but I do believe there is a link there.

From the information I've acquired, it takes a greater myth/legend/mystery to override another myth/legend/mystery which is why Avalon was able to override Gae Bolg's curse and heal Shirou. To answer your question, yes Excalibur can wipe Hercules off the map. Shirou stops Saber from using it in Fate route because it would've killed her too.

As for your second question... err.. My knowledge of Heavens Feel is rather spotty. I'd have to wait for the new patch to come out but I do know True Assassin was summoned using Assassin's remains.

Have you heard of a forum called The Beast's Lair?

These guys are very knowledgeable as far as Fate/Stay Night and other Type-Moon works go. You may find your answer there.

After reviewing some information at wikipedia and then at the beasts lair forums, I'm gonna have to rescind my earlier statement about 'Rule Breaker'.

It's confirmed that it can not only void contracts between a servant and master but also dispell most completed magecraft.

As for it's capabilities in removing Ranma's curse, I'm switching my answer from a straight 'no' to and 'I don't know'.

That's interesting.
Since my fic will be about a week long (i'm really bad at fillers, but i hope that sometime i'll bring more detail to my fic as well.) i'm curious how your fic would look like.

Will it be a good idea to write Shiro's first night and day as a Master, as well as some of his background , and put it before the part where Ranma gets his curse and is summoned?

I wouldn't write so much the entire day as I would choice segments. The rest of it I'd just gloss over. Shirou isn't the main character of your story. Well, at least he's not supposed to be. Therefore I don't expect him to get as much screen time as say Ranma or Sakura.

I meant his day as in *what happened in Fuuyki city before Ranma arrived*, so the readers would know how Shiro and Rin became allies, why Archer is wounded, how Lancer's True name was discovered, who the hell is Kotomine and so on.

I asked this because new stuff is being added to all of the chapters of the story as I write it.

Eh? What I said before still stands. Just choice segments. Maybe go into some of Shirou's thoughts on the matter. I wouldn't write it all in the pretext of a day. You could go over some of those things as the story progresses.
