As I remember reading somewhere in wiki, Sakura used her last seal to order Rider to protect Shiro when she was about to turn Dark and lost her contract that way.

What would've happened if Sakura was still Rider's Master when she turned Dark?
Will their connection remain the same?


Will Saber be able to hold away Dark Sakura's shadow minions with her *Invisible Air* or sword slashes?

Yep. As long as Sakura holds command seals, Rider cannot harm Sakura and she still has power to use command seals on her.

I would think invisible air would be at least partially effective. I doubt normal sword slashes would do anything.

No, Rider can still harm Sakura even when Sakura has Rider's command seals. Remember how Caster killed her original master before she hooked up with Kuzuki? And how Lancer killed Kotomine in UBW?

Caster convinced her original master to stupidly use up all his command seals. Then she killed him. It is also unclear how many command seals Kotomine used by the end of UBW. Thus he might have used the last one to command Lancer to kill himself. Otherwise I'm fairly certain Lancer would have outright killed Kotomine from the very beginning.

Yes there are some things that are inconsistant. Like how Saber actually does kill Shirou in one of the Fate route bad ends. Either that's a flub from Nasu or Kotomine did something. In any case I don't really consider the bad ends canon to begin with. There are some definite plot holes in Fate/Stay Night. Especially in the UBW scenario.

It maybe offtopic, but I decided to share.

After I read several Fate\stay night comics (*Heaven's Failure* and *Gilgamesh vs Rin* doujins) I got this *slightly* AU idea.


Rin summons Gilgamesh, Shiro summons Caster, Shinji gets Assassin, and Bazzet summons Saber.Ilya summons Lancer from Fate as Berserker. Kotomine summons Lancer but when he tried to attack Bazzet she destroys his hand with her special attack.

Lancer’s true name is Emilya Shirou who tries to protect Shiro, so there would be no need to use Heaven’s Feel on him for resurrection, because he ended up with Ilya’s body.Her Noble Phantasms will be original. Since she lost her Master she goes to Ilya.


Later, Caster summons Rider(not Medusa) for Shiro, so she could concentrate on Soichiro Kuzuki.



I'll finish my current fic and maybe, after some rest, will try to use this idea because it's seems unbelievably amusing to me.

Have only been checking this thread periodically but I don't think your idea would work all that well without really, really changing the lore.

It was mentioned earlier in the thread that you can pick what Servant you get by using using something connected to them in life as a catalyst during the summoning.

Rin is probably going to get future Shirou since the gem that she used to heal present Shirou is what she used as a focus in the summoning. Given the nature of his tracing ability you could probably summon his as any of the knightly classes (Archer, Lancer and Saber) and possibly Caster since in his own limited way he is a magus.

Shirou (the present version) pretty much must summon Arturia since he's got Avalon with him and that's all tied up with the 4th War. If by some chance he doesn't get Arturia odds are he's going to wind up with a version of himself.

Gilgamesh can't be summoned since he's still in the normal world due to the aftermath of the 4th War.

The Einzberns had their choice of Servant to summon and Herakles is generally recognised as one of, if not the most powerful Heroic Spirit. Why would they wan't to summon a lesser Servant? Also there's a decent chance of Bazzete summoning the Hound of Ulster regardless. Some of the legends mention that while Gae Bolg was his primary weapon he (and his father Lugh of the Light) did wield Fragarach the Answerer on occasions and Bazzete's family is in possession of it.

Well, maybe I'll modify the events of 4th War then. Don't know how much though. -.-
Maybe for some Servants I'll just change their class, like Cúchulainn being summoned as a Berserker.

And besides, this is just a rough idea about Shiro (Emilya Shiro) from an alternate dimension (Zelretch helped her I guess) arriving to 5th War as a Servant. It'll be improved\modified when I decide to make it into a fic.


Oh yeah.

The weapons I think Emilya would use as Lancer:

Ame-no-nuhoko ( "heavenly jewelled spear"?) is the name given to the naginata in Japanese mythology used to raise the primordial land-mass.
When used, the blade covers with drops of water that create pillars of stone when they touch the ground.

And Culghlas, the blue-green spear of Conall Cernach, Cúchulainn's (Lancer from Fate) comrade in arms since those two heroes share quite a history.
