Now that you bring it up, I admit that I should do something like that. Could I just ask you to define what you mean by story elements though?
And, yes, I'm sorry about that. My usual tendency when writing is to first devise a scenario, turn it into a question (aka, what is this aspect?), and then either pick the brains of my writing partner -you, in this case- or see what kind of answer I can concoct myself, which I then add to get opinions on. If the answer gels with both parties, it stays. If one (or neither) of us like it, then I scrap it and try and come up with a new possibility.

Drowned ones cast bad spell and out come pig, girl, duck, panda!
Swirl, swirl, slithery pond, and join with magic spring!
