Temple of Ranma's Sailor Senshi Seifuku

This idea just struck me and I nearly fell out of my chair laughing at it when I thought it through.
The basic idea is that Ranma Saotome must survive to see Crystal Tokyo and must be of a male mind set, or atleast be a lesbian, and retain the curse... This is all future Pluto told Setsuna. She told Setsuna this during the final phase of the neko-ken training, and when setsuna went to look in on him it starts the ball rolling.
The idea is for the fic is set post cannon for both stories, and it has many flash backs to events in the Ranma canon where she manipulated events to cause Ranma's life.
The entire thing is staged by future Pluto as a long running pratical joke on Setsuna. She keeps making Setsuna recieve precog 'visions' of the future where Ranma gets hurt in one way or another. Further is the idea that Tatewaki Kuno is an agent of future Pluto's (not sent to the past) that is supose to be a complication in Setsuna's schemes.
The height of the visions is that when ever Ranma gets too close to one of the fiancees Setsuna will get one that shows his death at her hands, either directly or indirectly. Thus she does all she can to keep Ranma unwed to them. She also has to keep Ranma from getting cured, several 'cures' are setup by Future Pluto, to keep Setsuna on her toes.
This culminates in Setsuna snaping and 'somehow' getting Ranma's engagments transfered to a few of the other Senshi, before taking a vacation. (which was the entire goal future Pluto ultimately had in mind, well that and cheap entertainment. Pluto needs to relax more and would have made a major fubar just before CT if she didn't have the vacation.)

obviously this is a joke/spam/oneshot fic. half flashback, half going nuts... Basically it dumps Ranma's inability to get his honor straightened out on her machinations.
This is an idea I might write later if no one beats me to it but I would like to hear some feedback incase I bump it up some.
(btw I am working on my other fics, and have added to what I have in all of them with in the last 2 weeks just so you know I am not ignoring them.)

That sound like it would make a good fic. Replaced EvilTimeWitch!Pluto with PrankQueen!Pluto, have you?

Hmm. Perhaps at the end have Ranma somehow discover this and basiclly show up to confront future-pluto. Remember he 'has to survive to Crystal Tokyo' or whatever. Don't even show the confrontation, just basiclly have a scene like the one below.
Pluto sighed in relief as she watched her past self throw a temper tantrum. The view through the mists of the time-gate were hazy, but with centuries of practice she could see near-perfectly into the scene.
As she was going to turn around she heard the soft sound of a slipper hitting the magically hardened floor. With a start she spun around, Garnet Rod raised in a defensive position. NOBODY should have been able to get this close in this particular location.
Before her stood a man, looking to be in his mid to late twenties. He was instantly recognizable. Ranma Saotome stood before her, and he did not look happy.
"Sailor Pluto.... You and I have things to .... discuss" he commented, his eyes narrored as he cracked his knuckles, as the feeling of power pushed down on her...
Just a little scen you could add to the end... Even if she is not 'EvilTimeWitch' Ranma might be a little miffed if he ever discovered this...

actually I am half way tempted to make Ranma the future Pluto in question, or at least, married to Setsuna and able to take Pluto form hen she is unable to do her job *cough*

Sure, Ranma and Pluto married is a good idea. I like that pairing.

Sailor Pluto interfering with Ranma's life and then ending up marrying him was done in Ozzallos's "The Best of Times".

hmm... ironically that fic had nothing to do with this one... If it did I woud have said so... besides it wasn't the first with that type of plot, I am sure most if not all Ranma-Pluto pairings were due to her machinations.
The married part was a tack on at the end to give future pluto a reason to do that to Ranma.

Yep, interesting premise. Not unique in and of itself... but can be made that way depending on how this is handled.
Properly done would be a good fic.

I could swear I just read this fic not too long ago. It really was a practical joke played by future pluto to ensure that Ranma and Setsuna end up married, and Ranma's able to nudge Crystal Tokyo into existence.

I'm almost 100% positive I've read that one two, but the name escapes me at the moment. If you remember please post it.

Lerris on FanFiction.net has a story like that. Though really only the original idea is humor ... and she intends all along to end up with Ranma. Good read, nicely executed. Though it's kind of a summary story hitting some important "high spots" but it's not a long fic.

As I said, the Pluto/Ranma pairing is a tack on to it, the real joke in it is the gag of Setsuna getting last minute warnings about somethings and her panicking attempts to stop certain events. Story wise Ranma could be the future Tux Kamen, or Tux Sol, or Sailor meaningless spec of dust, or just be a friend to pluto. and it would still be the same plot.
Basically what I am saying is to take the fanon "Pluto is always the calm one" and turn it on its head and drive Pluto up the wall with emergency interception of cures.
In TBoT Pluto only panicked a few times, and only when she failed to keep Ranma occupied. This would be along the lines of Future Pluto waking Setsuna up in the middle of the night to get her to stop Kuno from delivering hunderds of cats to the Tendo's, or prevent Herb from making it to Ranma after he entered Nerima to offer Ranma a cure to the curse. Each warning would come differently causing the Senshi confusion. Like Hotaru reading a comic in the news paper and it send Setsuna running because its a hidden message from her future self.

sounds like a kick. funny how others focused so much on the pairing when that is not the point of this idea. it sounds like a tempting idea... i would love to do it myself, but i'm still working on my other fics as it is. (the reason why i haven't done anything lately is that i've had computer problems ever since early feb. but i'm back up and runnning)

It starts with Pluto wanting a man for her and/or Hotaru, then moves from that to her wanting to fix at least some of his problems and save his life, then finding that she needs him for Crystal Tokyo to occur. This is a more subtle and type of manipulation than Wargiver is implying though.

Though in that, there is not interference by her future self.
