headaches, Princesses, and a Queen

First, I know that Ranma as Kamen has been over done, and I know that plenty has been done for Ranma being evil and the Sailor Senshi's enemy. so I decided to do my usual, combine two obvious things and combine them method of making a fic idea:

Ranma as Kamen and Berryl.

The idea is that when the silver millennium ended Berryl died, but set forth a plan of action, basically a 'how to' and 'what to' do list before the final assult. when everyone was sent forward Berryl didn't realize that the sending forward was just souls, she felt it was as a whole, so she cast a quick anchor spell to link herself and Kamen(or Endymion) however she realized her error too late and had her soul riped from her body killing her instantly.

Flash forward to present, post Ranma Canon, pre SM canon. Ranma has been having blackouts, they seem to be happening more and more often, and usually he has a headache when he awakens. Yet time he feels closer to knowing what happened. so far nobody is arround that remembers what happened, usually because its at night and everyone is asleep.

What is happening is one or both of the past lives, Berryl and Endymion are awakening and disappearing to do what ever needs to be done, i.e. Endymion goes to save Sailor Moon, Berryl goes to try and capture Endymion. Neither know about the other, nor do either have any of Ranma's memories.

The reason why Berryl never knows anything is that she gets 'summoned' at pre decided times, and since this is done with magic setup after the fall, and in the Dark Kingdom, she has no idea who her host is, and this causes many mistakes as she tries to find out. Endymion on the other hand only awakens when Sailor Moon is in trouble, however unlike Berryl who follows a pattern, he is a tad bit more random, and Ranma tends to naturally find a quiet spot to blackout.

Berryl does not actually use Ranma's body, and goes to the dark kingdom in spirit form.

Berryl, while looking for her host body, so she can perform a ritual to get her body under her control, causes Akane to undergo Naru syndrom and get in the line of fire constantly, albeit accidentally. (no Akane has no special reincarnation attributes, and no she does not replace Naru, just another with the same luck)

There is also no Mamoru.


beyond this I have no idea where to take this, I know the final revelation would be quite funny. and I thought of a few lines during that discussion:

Ranma: "wait, are you saying I have the souls of a kind prince, and Moon's fiancee, in me , along with Moon's rival, and mortal enemy, an evil Queen?"

Nabiki: "This is so you its not funny."

Cologne: "You can't fight 3000 years of amazon tradition, you will marry shampoo"

Pluto whispers something to Cologne

Cologne: "Then again, perhaps you can"

I don't know if I will write it or not, at the moment I am in a... energy depression. I barely have the energy to surf, muchless write. I posted this idea here on a whim when I thought of it, so I might write it, or someone might beat me to it.

It's a variation on another idea, I think by SKJAM!, where Ranma through the use of the Nanban mirror ends up being both himself, Genma and Nodoka, in various attempts to fix his life. But I know I've seen Ranma as both Beryl and Mamoru before, somewhere...

hmmm... I don't remember that one...

but as in the outline, this isn't a soul split, Ranma has 2 souls, but it would explain that incense twin behavior...

The story you may be thinking of is Where I Came Fromby Cloud Dreamer. Though in that story it is more by accident than by intent.

There's also a story where Ranma is both of his parants, by accident IIRC, using the Nanban mirror, and as the mother leaves the child at the Saotome's doorstep or whatever...
