Ok, this this an idea I've been thinking of and I hope to bring to fruition.

Over my time on the internet I've been developing my character, who is Sailor Nemesis. Yes, the name has been used before, but the way I see it I am the true creator of her, and all others are mere shells. The reason for my difference is the amount of detail I've been putting into her existence and being. No one has taken it quite as far as I have, from what I've managed to gather.

The main premise is a bit of a dark fic, focused on a grim dark future that must be purified by the senshi. The prologue starts out about 10000 years ago (around the time of the Silver Millenium, give or take whatever years I'm missing) Right about the fall of the Silver Empire (as I call it). The senshi have all but been destroyed, the two surviving senshi left being Sailor Nemesis and Sailor Saturn, who have a sort of friendship bond. During the final battle for the Empire Sailor Nemesis and Sailor Saturn are on a desperate mission to reach Queen Serenity within the Moon Palace.
I'm still working out the bugs.

Now, I already have a bit of lore background for her existence and if need be I can supply you guys with it. My main question is if I can get some constructive criticism or help with this project, I also have my friend from Gaia Online helping me forge the details.

What are your opinions?

any reason you are using Sailor Nemesis in spisficly because if there isn't then why not use Eris since it is real. Eris is the goddess of chaos or discord

I have my own specific reasons, and a lot of thought to back it up. My main reason is a what-if type of thing. And it's focused around what we know of as the Asteroid Belt. That, in my fantasy, used to be the Planet Nemesis, (not from canon Sailor Moon series), a planet with a strong concentration of Chaos magic, a neutral and unpredictable form of magic that Sailor Nemesis' powers are based from.

You'll need a new title and it wouldn't hurt to come up with an original name for the planet and the Senshi. Nemesis kinda got taken too many times.

If you want to go with the nature of the asteroid belt then you should also have the powers fail on occasion because the Belt fails to continue as a living world. But being so scattered it could be an interesting embodyment of anything goes. bits and pieces of many styles from all over the place.

Perhaps so, but look at it from my perspective: Would you change something that you took time and energy to create a world around? What if someone told you to change the name of your child to something else because the name you chose was already used a lot?

The thing is there's already a story with the title Senshi of Chaos using Nemesis. There have been times on the Internet where I've completely gutted characters in RP's or worse to avoid confusion.

I'm not asking you to scrap your ideas but to look at other names so people won't be hounding you over names. "A rose by any other name" etc. can still convey all that you want in your story but avoid the confusion in reusing the names and avoiding pointless BS that will happen only because the names were used before.

The name of the story I can of course change, I have no problem with that. But I have no intentions of changing my senshi's name just because she shares the name with "imposters". I put too much time and energy in investing my thoughts and ideas into my character.
