A (hopefully) unique take on Ranma 1/2-Silent Hill Crossover

I know that there are already a few crossovers feature Ranma 1/2 and Silent Hill, however, I've noticed something. In everyone that I know of, the unfortunate Nerimite ends up facing the monsters from one (or more) of the Silent Hill games. Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't the monsters in each game unique because they embody aspects of the psyche of the "chosen one" (player character)?
If yes, then I was thinking... has anyone ever written a Ranma/Silent Hill "fusion"? One where, as in the games, the protagonist has been drawn to Silent Hill and the monsters are shaped on their psyche?
If you think that this is an idea worth pursuing, then please post here, because I need help. Particularly, I'd like to hear your opinions on what sort of monsters might be "spawned" by each of the Nerimites.

There's some merrit to your idea but could you flesh it out a little more? What kind of scenario are you looking for or are you going to reshape the town of Silent Hill to fit whichever nightmares people come up with?

...? I'm not precisely sure what you're asking. Can you clarify please?

Do you have any story plot elements yet to help in showing what kind of creatures you may need or just replacments for all the forms seen in Silent Hill only with a Ranma Slant?
Will it still be more or less Silent Hill or will the town be different for the altered cast?

Oh. I believe so far I'm just asking for replacement monsters; the story is more or less Silent Hill, just with a Ranma 1/2 slant. Does that answer your question?

Yeah. Sorry I can't help on the monsters besides the obvious of suggesting some areas have cat themes.

Never having played Silent Hill (I'm not a survival-horror person) I can't offer too much advice, but how about twisting SH a bit more than usual, and about halfway through the story Ranma (or whoever) realizes that he's been running around a twisted, psycho version of Nerima? That'd be a "...dear God..." moment if there's ever been one.
