Tragic Lover Sailor V( Sailor moon/ranma)

This is my first idea so please don't bite my head off. I was considering having it a straight SM, but I figured out a role for the some of the ranma cast. All sailors(except usa) plus serenity will be used: it wouldn't be a sailor fic with out them. This is a Ranma-chan and minato match up taking place. Time line wise you might as well take cannon version of SM and shoot cause it will have no resemblance story or with the characters. After the bout with herb it will go off to story with Ranma getting locked again.

Minato
The main focus will be between her as the main character. Personally she doesn't get a lot of time on the lime light. Anyways it starts off with minato complaing about being single(big surprise there) and blames it on a deity. Well she's not being dramatic this time because she's right?? In the time of the silver millenium all senshi had roles and draw backs with their title. Sailor V the senshi of lover can never find true love or it it ends quite badly(very). She doesn't get romatically involved till after a few bad relationships and tries following Haruka's advice.

Ranma
Ranma comes into play during his fight with herb which is picked up by Ami during a scan off juban. We both know how the fight goes with the place a mess and Ranma male and victorious. The aftermath is different than the manga. While going about his regular day he approached by ryoga on a show of good faith only to get splashed by ryoga. Normally that wouldn't be a problem if he wasn't a she and doused with the locking ladel. He loses it, cripples ryoga, and moves with his mom in juban(just following a trend). Her role will get bigger during the story, but this time she's the damsel in distress.


Queen Serenity
Normally portrayed as all knowing or wise she isn't which brings us to our current problem. During The bonding process she messes up and puts on a curse of 1000 failed relationships on to the holder of venus. She'll only appear in flashbacks.

Setsuna
Well cryptic and cold normally define someone such as her, but it comes with the job. In the silver millenium she, venus, and saturn were in minato's self proclaimed singles club. After checking out the weird events around her freind she finds out a disturbing secret, but is too late and was sent to the time gate. There she witnesses Venus's brother kill her after she doesn't return his affections. Now she tries and fails to give the rather desperate teen relationship advice(never been in one).

Hotaru,Michiru, and Haruka
Hotaru member of the singles club in the Past has a small role as the supportive and shy freind when not reaping armies. Now she is more like the timid little sister, but first notices Minatos desperate bid to get a man as another sign. Michiru and Haruka play the role of coach and try to help minato deal with being a lesbian.

The inners except sailor v
Its sad to say, but the closest got the smallest roles in the SM part. Usagi isn't that big of an airhead and loves to point out the obvious. She's still the ice cream loving , bubbly, and weird usagi we all love. Rei, Ami,and makato are close to the cannon with the exception of extra attacks. Mamoru's other persona will rarely show up.

Ryoga,Kasumi,Tofu, and Nodoka
Minor characters that play as ranma's support except ryoga who gets crippled then dismissed. Nodoka takes ranma in after getting locked again and enrolls her in juban to give her what furikan could not. kasumi and Tofu help him get away from nerima and move to start work in juban with Tofu working as a doctor in a hospital and Kasumi replacing the school nurse who was a yoma. They have no effect on the plot whats so ever.

Justine V. Valitine
Minato's brother from the silver millenium. After killing her he goes into brooding till he picks up her signal and once again goes to get or kill her. Taking his army he puts up sceniros that will bring her closer to him. The untimelly arrival of Ranma forces him to reconsider. If all else fails is Red better than blonde/

Do you mean Minako? Minato is the name of one of the Hokage or something like that from Naruto. Minako was the first active Senshi who is also the only one who had her own Manga Series. Codename:SailorV

You have allot of ideas here but I don't see much of a plot or really motives/reasons for things to end up as you are describing.

Lots of background here, but no plot as of yet.

No mention of the Negaverse. What happened to them? how do they fit in? They _have_ to fit in somewhere, because otherwise there would be no reason for the silver millenium to fall in the first place.

Where was justine all this time? Why does he have an army now and where is he hiding it?

Yeah....sorry about spelling I had to rush trough the post.

As far as the plotline goes I have a good idea, but its kinda hard putting every thing together. Right now I put together my ideas before they got lost in the sea of writters block. If you got some advice I'd love to hear it cause this is my first multi chapter project.

Work out some key events to anchor your time line and help figure out what kinds of things you need to have happen so that your story makes sense.

Mondou_the_fat your point is vailid and I thank you for it. As Far as the negaverse and the Fall of the Silver Millenium goes. Justine sided with Beryl and got the perks with siding with the bad guys. His part was the fall of venus and death of his sister afterwhich he took his army and left avoiding the fate as the bad guys. Plus He had thousands of years to settle and rule else where. Of the dark kingdom and what not it still happened just not the same way as the main stream story.

If you really wanted to do it this way, you'd probably also want to make the fight itself different--not just the aftermath. For canon!Ryoga, it really wouldn't make much sense at all for him to treacherously splash Ranma in the aftermath... considering he risked his life in the fight against Herb specifically to get Ranma unlocked.

If he'd wanted to achieve locked-Ranma in canon, he could've just not jumped into the fissure after the kettle in the first place. Diverging at that point--rather than in the aftermath--seems much more consistent than trying to have Ryoga save Ranma, and then randomly change his mind and do a take-back afterward.

Of course, you could do it having Ryoga crippled/dead as you had in the original storyline--and without any OOC at all--if you just had something mechanistic be the divergence. Like, say, Ryoga not managing to get to the kettle in time, and getting caught in the fissure as it closes.
