Ranma fell into a different spring at a younger age...
(And Gendo fell in to the pool of the midget panda  )

Image

For Konata it's cosplay as likely as not.
Image

For Ranma... it just makes it a fukufic (of sorts)

Looks like Misato got a hold of some age reducing ramen.

::sigh:: They are all good as usual. I just can't accept that Akane. The build of that body is just too slight for her! Not to mention the neck is a bit long for her head size.

Just look at what a difference making it 10% wider in the body and a maintained aspect ratio 10% increase on her head repositioning it a little to shrink the neck length.

yes they do look better like that. In fact Akane's head could be a tad smaller.
In the meantime, until I fix it, here's the actual pair:

Is it disturbing that I think Shinji Katsuragi looks cute?

On the head size I was more or less trying to keep the same increase as I had to use on the body. Well that and going by cheek bones and hair looking at my copies of Ranma 1/2 manga scans it just seemed the right proportion to Ranma. Even if it is a bit big for the more human proportions of the original figure.

No, because she does look cute.

But what do you think of Shinji Akagi?

Now you should be distrubed by this picture:

This one was inspired by a comment from Sunshine

With appologies to the late Rod Serling (from whom the following is cribbed nearly word for word)

You're traveling through another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind; a journey into a wondrous land whose boundaries are that of imagination. That's the signpost up ahead — your next stop, the Fukufic Zone.

Tonight's story on The Fukufic Zone is somewhat unique and calls for a different kind of introduction. This, as you may recognize, is a map of Japan, and there's a little town there called Nerima. On a given morning not too long ago, the rest of the world disappeared and Nerima was left all alone. Its inhabitants were never sure whether the world was destroyed and only Nerima left untouched or whether the village had somehow been taken away. They were, on the other hand, sure of one thing: the cause. A monster had arrived in the village. Just by using her mind, she took away the automobiles, the electricity, the machines - because they displeased her - and she moved an entire community back into the dark ages - just by using her mind. Now I'd like to introduce you to some of the people in Nerima, Japan. This is Mr. Soun Tendo. It's in his Dojo that the monster resides. This is his daughter Nabiki. And this is Kasumi, who probably had more control over the monster in the beginning than almost anyone. But one day she forgot. She began to sing aloud. Now, the monster doesn't like singing, so its mind snapped at her, turning her into the smiling, vacant thing you're looking at now. She sings no more. And you'll note that the people in Nerima, Japan, have to smile. They have to think happy thoughts and say happy things because once displeased, the monster can wish them into a cornfield or change them into a grotesque, walking horror. This particular monster can read minds, you see. She knows every thought, she can feel every emotion. Oh yes, I did forget something, didn't I? I forgot to introduce you to the monster. This is the monster. Her name is Akane Tendo. She's sixteen years old, with a cute little-girl face and brown, guileless eyes. But when those eyes look at you, you'd better start thinking happy thoughts, because the mind behind them is absolutely in charge. And tonight this isolated village receives two visitors. This is the Fukufic Zone.

Image

No comment here, no comment at all. We only wanted to introduce you to one of our very special citizens, darling Akane Tendo, age 16, who lives in a village called Nerima, in a place that used to be Japan. And if by some strange chance you should run across her, you had best think only good thoughts. Anything less than that is handled at your own risk, because if you do meet Akane you can be sure of one thing: you have entered the Fukufic Zone.

Now having posted the above It occurs to me that you could replace Akane in the above scenario with Neo Queen Serenity (aka Usagi Tsukino) and Nerima with Crystal Tokyo... (the only question being who ends up in the cornfield. . . but I leave that to you.)

Ranma thinks he's found the answer to Akane's mallet...

At least this time it was just the hair and not magic marker

Konata talked Miyuki into wearing Asuka's sundress and found, as usual the Moe points went off the scale.

I think Ryoga picked this particular Godzilla up in Bangkok. Can't have a viable population without juveniles, and I happened to see this one exiting a nightclub on Patpong street.

It would still need an aging mushroom to give it a couple years growth to fit that picture.

I figured for the purposes of the picture it was Godzilla's son, however the use of aging mushrooms would make for an interesting story.
Another good question is how did Ryoga persuade Godzilla jr to let him ride? did Ryoga pull a thorn out of G's paw?

Guess Ranma-chan either decided to bind her chest or didn't get to actually try on the uniform before hand.

As to the late bloomer one it would fit better to me if there were a way to slightly age the face to fit. This seems more like those fantacies they sometimes slip into cartoons where people imagine themselves and their friends with all grown up bodies going through what they think will happen in the future without actually having any faces change because its only pretend. Ending with the boys looking almost the same but hunched over as if arthritic with white beards and the girls with white hair.

Just a moment from the imagining adult part of the day dream.

Or it's just an AU Ranma-chan. (or the Ranma from the begining of the Manga who is more modestly proportioned)

Actually this is a picture of Konata when she's 19.

As to the Godzilla & the Mushroom puzzler:

Godzilla was getting frustrated, It seemed he'd been chasing that mushroom for hours.
