Quick question: Given that the current case referenced in season 4 is called (According to the CoalGuys translation) The Marriage Case, how many shippers will scream bloody murder over the fact that is pretty much flat out stated that Nanoha and Fate are not the ones getting married (or even one of them to somebody else)?

Bloody murder? Well... they can still hold hope that just because it's not the Nanoha/Fate marrage doesn't mean there won't be one for them.

Oh, the Mariage case is a reference to the SSX Sound Stage, a drama CD focusing entirely on the new characters from StrikerS, mainly the Forwards.
The story goes that four years after StrikerS, a string of serial killings has led to Mid Childa and rookie Enforcer Teana Lanstar is on the case, with assistance from new girl Runessa. Subaru and the rest of the Forwards get caught up in the case as well, and the killings are revealed to have been perpetrated by a weapon system known as the Mariage in their search for "The Dark King, Ixpellia", who is noted in Belkan history as a brutal tyrant who loved war and bloodshed. This being Nanoha, of course, there's a little more to it than that.
The Mariage themselves are essentially undead cyborgs (Not zombies, they have a degree of intelligence) who infest corpses with nanomachines (I think) and resurrect them, changing the corpse into a new Mariage. If Ixpellia isn't found and the Mariage stopped, the TSAB could have something akin to a zombie apocalypse on their hands.
Aside from the Forwards, we also get status updates on the Numbers and most of the rest of the new StrikerS characters. Most of the Numbers have moved on with their lives, with Cinque and several of her sisters being adopted by Genya Nakajima while Otto and Sein have apparently joined the Saint Church. I can't remember what Lutecia and Agito are up to, but Vivio has been helping Yuuno in the Infinity Library and learning a few things about magic while she's at it (Probably gearing up for ViviD at this point).
The Forwards have made progress too; Subaru has learned a few new spells, Caro and Erio spend their time hunting poachers on a nature preserve, and Teana has added Starlight Breaker to her spell list. Oh yes.

The "ring" looks more like a bracelet and if you look closely it seems to have the same cross as the Book on the panel over. And it appears to be worn by the guy standing on the ground on the next page (look at the jacket)
Given this is a new character I am doubting they will harm the chemistry of Nanoha and Fate.
Also the Gunblade lookes duct taped...

Say, on the Nanoha site, see the boxes for the other three series'? And the shadowed out fourth? Anyone hear about another StrikerS series?

From what I understand the '4th season' is in fact the Magical Force manga
