Did the BB versions match up? It's really easy to end up with the theme for the other revision.

I was searching for 2.x themes, which should have been compatible.

It's just cool how you two redid the Rank Structure. I was wondering if you were ever going to do that. Anyway. Great job all of you that helped bring those images into the fold. My hats off to everyone that came up with new Senshi-Oriented Themes as well. That's all of us! Good work!

As I promised, Ellen has been given a new temporary rank of Sailor Starlight since I replaced the rank that used to include it with the new "Asteroid Senshi". Now I'm waiting to see if she delivers on the new avatar she said she'd been planning when she got to that level.

I'm debating whether or not to allow it for other members, but for now it's a one-time only exception, allowed because of her statement that she was going to do something special.

Why not set up some kind of contest every once in a while, where someone can win a title?

We tried that, and it failed miserably. There was a writing contest that was run by DCG last year, and while there were a few entrants, in the end it just didn't work out.

A couple came up in a topic recently. Look for Daniel Jess Gibson's post.

It may have just been the story requisites, rather than a lack of interest to participate.

This really isn't that bad a system.

Yeah, it'll take a while, but this will give the board time to build new membership to the point where we'll have much faster response times on posts and people might be putting up 50 posts a day.

I've seen people get multiple hundred in one day in Spamville. I think it's part of the reason why the change was made.
