Shiny new VPS! (aka Scheduled Downtime on October 12, 2009)

As you can see now, the site is up again, on our shiny new VPS. Everything should be working, but keep an eye out for bugs.

The Temple will be taken down this evening. Not much warning, I know, but this act of maintenance is rather important...
It will start at 12:00am EST. That's 4:00am GMT I believe.
I haven't any idea how long the site will be down, but I don't think it'll take any longer than 15 minutes.
... you know, it's nice to be able to schedule these things instead of just waking up to find the site gone. <.<

It works perfectly fine as a link for me in IE 8.
Also... how much longer is it expected we will have to go to the temporary link? Not a big deal, since it is just a click for me, but was curious.

I think it has more to do with the message space as opposed to weather or not direct addressing works as links.

Message Space? The only issue I've encountered under the temp link is that I have to re-log in every time I come here. Even checking the check boxes is not keeping my settings between sessions.
Granted, I only go to specifc spots on the forum, so if stuff is wrong outside thoses spots (like spamville, which I deliberately avoid), I would never see it.

What I mean is I think the reason it didn't show up as a clickable link is because the space in which the announcement is posted didn't let it become a link right there.
