I sincerely reccomend reading the Fragility of Time series. And not only because I'm teh Prereader for Stardust memories, but because Fragility of Time is the BEST example out there of how a Divergence fic should be handled.
While characters get more powerful, they only do so because teh enemies are that much more powerful. The original plot of teh series isn't referenced constantly, The butterfly effect takes place in a way that's both believable and well written. new characters are added, outside parties react to the changes though they wouldn't have before, and by teh time you get to Stardust Memories (Which takes place during the same time period that the neherenia Arc would have) you wouldn't know you are totally engrossed with the story, and Wondering how the hell the characters will get out of this alive.
This fic is just amazingly well written (though the author had a bit of room to improve at the beginning) and It's everything a good Epic fic should be.
Read teh Fic, and Most importantly REVIEW! Stardust memories has 4 chapters, and 55,886 words, yet it had only 15 reviews! It's Predecessor (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/215354/1/) The Fragility of Time has 37 Chapters, at 201,675 words, with only 94 reviews. Read it! Enjoy it! And most importantly, Review!
