sorry Spokavriel, I'll try to get some RTF versions up....however, I've never had trouble putting pdfs into a half screen and zooming in on them, so I'm not sure about the issue. The only trouble I've had with pdf is load times.
a reason I'm going to my own site is because I'm hoping to use it to consolidate my original writing, RP game development, freelance writing (2 contracts working right now), merchandise and fanfiction into one place and...
ff.net doesn't even allow me to advertise so I can't mention my novels or short stories there, much less link to where you can buy them
deviantart.com is better but still is more geared toward art than anything else and it makes advertising difficult
lulu.com and zazzle.com don't really provide much use either except for the books and shirts themselves
so, I started my own website, offer some chapters of my original stuff for free, slowly copying my fanfictions over there...
posting chapters there earlier is a way to get people over there without breaking ff.net's anti-advertising rules....
I like pdfs for image and because it sometimes make things a bit harder on copying stuff (yay, it'll take them thirty more seconds to copy things...not like my stuff is yet known enough to be worth stealing)....I put the fanfiction in that format to be consistent to style, but again, I'll try to get rtf versions up, but first let me get through the massive work of copying all my old fanfics over and fixing the various formatting flaws that have built up over years of ff.net
(in one story, ff.net edited away Kodachi's OHHHH-HOHOHOHOHO for what ever reason)
I'm also hoping to get a publisher's account from project wonderful
if the website takes off I'll be able to support myself on it various ways, I'm hoping the advertising will at least make it pay for itself.
In any case, as that pertains to my ficcing.
This means that I'm going to try to get at least one chapter out a week, maybe more....of both fanfics and original stuff (so two chapters a week)
so website being successful means more fanfiction for you (and hopefully you decide to read my original stuff too)

On another note, I'd lost track of this place in the near nervous breakdown that was my last teaching job....glad to find it again....bookmark
