Akane is invited to compete in a cooking contest. She openly gloats over the fact that she is invited by name when nobody else in Nerima is, including the professional cooks. She doesn't understand the implication when she goes up against such cooks as Ryoko Hakubi or Xelloss the Trickster Priest.

It isn't until the judging stage that she learns that the competition is to identify the worldls worst cook.

You know, that would explain the first one, the eating contest. I mean, they have to get rid of that toxic stuff somehow, right?

But two of the mega-eaters can recognize the cooking of two of the cooks in question, and know better than to touch it. Xelloss is openly proud of the fact that a mouthful of his cooking can kill a dragon. Lina knows and wouldn't go near the stuff. Ranma's been exposed to Akane's cooking too many times to want to handle it. And Ryoko is the only person in the galaxy who can make military grade acid from the ingredients for vegetable soup.

...Ghost Hunt, I can safely say you were the most predictable anime this season... Sad considering you were a mystery.

That said, I don't think the group at the SPR would be that equipped to handle a youma like the kind in SM. Several youma attack characters with similar abilities to the cast of GH, and Mars is supposed to be a very talented shinto priestess if I am not mistaken, yet her abilities only seem to have an effect on the weakest youma. It seems like an amusing idea, but I don't think it would pan out that well to actually write it with the characters power levels in mind.

Then again, as a spamfic series, maybe featuring Naru Narusegawa,

Naruto and any other Naru's in anime, only to arrive completely beat up at the right Naru and fight the Senshi, only to discover that they're actually a fair bit less dangerous enemies then most of the people it fought on its way there.

The GH Naru manages to blow up a kami who had been able to enslave himself an army of ghouls. Psychically speaking, he's no pushover. I'd say he could channel equivalent power to a season 1 Senshi - once, then fall over and end up in the hospital.

The rest of the cast of GH combined might equal the power of a second season 1 Senshi - with a lot of caveats, such as Masako's powers having no offensive potential, Ayako's powers only achieving full strength when she can draw strength from tree spirits (And she can only use any given tree spirit once every 6 months), and Mai having only a limited knowledge of what her powers even do.

I suggested this as a oneshot is because of those caveats. The people of SPR are investigators, not fighters. They might be able to drive off one youma attack, but they'd never be able to fight a war against them. They just don't have the staying power. If Sailor Moon had to spend three days in the hospital every time she changed back to Usagi, Beryl would have won within two weeks. Similar things would happen if Sailor Mars could only use her power at full strength twice a year.

Making a series of oneshots with every other anime character who answers to Naru would be interesting, though.

And a possible second chapter of that odd cross, watching those lunatics go about solving the problem, by blowing up the Third, Fourth, and Fifth-world countries that eat all the food the First-worlders make without paying for it.

I find this comment a little offensive, its also woefully inaccurate. Much of the first world doesn't produce enough food for their population, and eat crops grown in third world countries. These third world countries often have a large starving population, yet somehow those countries still have enough food to sell to us... and its us thats doing it to, corporations run on our soil using expoitative contracts to force this shit through. Even those of whose countries do produce enough food for our population (US Aus, and not a great deal of others to my knowledge), we're still eating food grown in the third world as well...

For a fic idea... Someone mentioned ranma being 'sealed' in Hinata from naruto... This leads me to an idea that seems so obvious that it surely must have been done already.

The leaf village wasn't attacked by the nine tailed fox, but instead a raging, powerful, insane catperson-demon... Or rather, a more powerful version of Ranma [chan?] affected by the nekoken. Naruto has ranma sealed inside him.

If ranma was a girl when she was sealed, I'd suggest that perhaps the sexy no jutsu could allow Ranma temporary control.[/i]

Konoha finds that sealing the demon only makes their problems worse. Heh, could even throw anouther reason for the sealing out there other than saving Konoha from destruction. Got a problem with anoying trouble maker mazoku? I know! Lets seal him in an innocent newborn! That'll get rid of him for sure! All that love and attention combined with inherent innocence will be its undoing! Alas, the best laid plans....

What if, whoever or whatever you seal in Naruto, the seal functions the same way as the seal that binds Dark Schneider to Lucien Renlan (of Bastard!!)? In other words, in order to release the seal, a virgin girl has to kiss him?

They get to the battle at the end of the chuunin exams, and they realize that they need the power of the sealed creature, only to find that with one exception, all the girls categorically refuse to kiss Naruto. And the last girl faints when the subject is brought up.

Actually the shadow Hinata would hate Naruto, but a Shadow Naruto and shadow demon fox.... an utterly lazy Naruto who is completely evil while containing a kind and compasionate Kuubi... Ouch my head... Wait most of Konoha hates Naruto... they would worship him... That could be most fun...

New idea... A HP/SM cross where the magic world is actually MK survivors and all work for Pluto indirectly... especially the schools... (usually its done where the sailor senshi are considered rogues.)

SM/Slayers cross where Hotaru is reincarnated Lina Inverse... and after the final resurection at the end of Galaxia arc the Lina personality is the dominate one...

Ranma/Time Squad... I'm serious: What if durring the Herb fight, Ranma misses the chance to unlock the curse. This, of course, is a timeline that went off track to how it's supposed to be. Ranma would supposedly go on to do great things when the curse was regularly active. Enter Buck Tuddrussel, Otto Osworth, and Larry 3000. Wow... that could all end up going a little crazy

Ranma/Codename KND: Father, through the use of magic, sees into Ranma's world and witnesses the boy's great feats. Thinking he could probably mold him into a perfect weapon against the KND. He orders Professor XXX-Large to build an interdeminsional portal. XXX-Large does indeed create one, but a problem causes Ranma to be turned into a child on his way through, and the portal is destroyed. How would Ranma react to being in a world more insane than his own?

Ranma/Ben 10: Omnitrix falls to Nerima instead. Ranma finds it and... yeah

Ranma/The Mask: Do I REALLY need to explain this one?

Ranma/Courage the Cowardly Dog: What if Courage was born in Japan and Ranma became his owner? Whooha, more supernatural stuff coming Ranma's way

Ranma/Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers: Problems with Jusenkyou (Falling into both Spring of drowned girl and drowned rodent) lead to some interesting issues.
