Part of the Coupled Union branch Argent Pegasus involves just that. So far it's only a few eps, though.

Harry: "And if that don't work, use more gun." *Cue scene of Harry dropping a bigger autoturret that blows the basilisk's brain out.

Here's one I'm pretty sure someone might have thought of but I can't find anyone who has done it.

What if Akane's immature view on Sex and Life in general as seen through her idea that anything more than kissing or holding hands that is romantic or amorous is Perverted comes from her Mother having used the Xi-Feng-xiang-gao (Or however it is spelled) on her to suppress a memory of her seeing her mother and father engaged in carnal acts.

To have this work and not be something that Soun or the other Tendo's automatically know about Amazons or anything like that Mrs. Tendo would be someone who fled the tribe and changed her name at the very least. Possibly even the daughter of another tribe closer to the coast that has had more Japanee husbands taken in over the years. For being superior at the warfare of the modern world. Business. They still know their techniques and train in their skills of all forms of war but are not "backwards" like the Joketsuzoku.

Just something that came to mind. Would a memory block like that coming to light be an interesting plot twist to work with? And just imagine how Akane would take it after that block more or less hiding anything about actual sex which kept her from finding the understanding to form an adult opinion on it or even have normal fantasies. Without that how would she change and how would it impact her?

I haven't seen that exactly, but I have seen a very short blurb-fic where Ranma sees Nodoka/Genma in the act and completely breaks down and it turns out that nearly every other single person has similar issues that have either been blocked by the technique or need to be. It was used to explain why nearly every single character in the series is completely off their rocker.

If I can remember it, I'll point you to it as it was very very funny. I forget if Akane was one of the people warped by having seen parental sex or not though.

I had a similar idea once, except there was no memory block. It involved the old "Daddy's hurting Mommy" trope, except in this case it was pretty close, being consensual S&M. So that, with her mother's flailing explanation of just what was going on to a pre-puberty Akane, gave her a pretty messed up idea about sex.

True, but Akane would likely act differently in that case.

Unless the way Mrs Tendo died wasn't disease related but an injury from bondage and Akane was the only one to witness it. The other sisters not finding out that little tidbit. It would explain why Soun is so overly emotional and gave up almost anything aggressive without it being an aura effect.
