Just finally got round to watching all of Slayers NEXT. I'm understanding Himitsu's obsession with Xellos now... He's damn cool.
I have an old (and I mean *old*) DBZ Music Video in my collection that's about the fight between Gohan and Cell that uses some Japanese music that was damn good (the music that is, not the whole vid, though that wasn't bad). I'd been wondering for the longest time where that music came from, and lo and behold, after watching the first episode of Slayers TRY, guess what the music to the ending credits happens to be?

I just picked up the boxed Next set so that's... um.. well... next on my list to watch.

I have a buddy who comes over most Saturdays to watch anime. We're watching Bleach and Naruto (there was a promise on the latest ep of Naruto that the end of the fillers is in sight!) as well as a few others. I've also introduced him to City Hunter and Armored Trooper Votoms. It's amazing how good those shows are. They hold up extremely well, even when compared with current animation. Votoms uses a lot of the old recycled scenes trick, but the story is so fascinating that you don't care.

Finally got up to Innocent Venus ep 5. *grins* I actually really enjoy the series, even if so many of the characters remind me of other anime.... *smirks* It's pretty interesting, now that we've gotten a bit more background information. Apparently the little girl in the beginning is codenamed Venus and is integral to everyone's plans, she was rescued by Jin and Jo who were part of some crack team called Phantom which utilize these armor'd suits that function much like the Zero system in Gundam Wing... *smirks* Everyone is trying to get Venus because apparently she's the only one that holds the key... *shrugs* It's purely speculation right now. But interesting nonetheless.... a good mecha anime in the same vein as Gasaraki, well sort of but not quite.... *smirks* Definitely going to continue the series and see where it takes it... despite being only 12 episodes..

Just finished watching 'Ultra Maniac' volumes 1-6 (don't have 7 yet). This is a good anime series that runs on some of the same guidelines as the manga, but uses different elements. Such as her computer. In the anime, it's used every episode where in the G/N, it's hardly ever used. Plus, the prince. He's only in the Anime. Same with the Holy Stones. You have to see both to get a real feel for them.

Still working on Urusei Yatsura... On to ep 125 or so now. And up to episode 190 is still in the works... Gah... I still need the last 5!!!! After which movies 5 and 6 can be taken down!!!

Finally watched Episode 21 of Air Gear.... whoooo..... damn that was a good epi.... *grins* I just wish Scum-Scans would hurry up with the translations... I'm so behind... *pouts* Only at vol 9 out of 12....
I can't wait for ep 22 to come out.... I need to know if Ikki accepts the offer to lead Genesis... *grins* Hmmm.... and there are 4 Regalia and 4 Kings? I only count three..... unless Simca is one too....Flame King, Thunder King, Fang King.... who's the fourth? And will that mean Ikki has to fight Sleeping Forest~! *grins*

Total there are 8 kings and 8 regalia.
Additionaly I just watched Phantom: The animation, and I was really impressed. A little low budget at times, but overall very good.

I gave you one a while ago... And I'm not sure about the future chapters; just that they have said eight kings several times before.

Wind King (風の王)
Flame King (炎の王)
Thunder King (雷の王)
Thorn King (荊の王)
Fang King (牙の王)
Rumble King (轟の王)
Pledge King (契の王)
Gem King (石の王)
Wikipedia will give you those eight titles; though as for who they are, some haven't been revealed yet; and you forgot about at least one when you did your list before.

Yeah; and I'm pretty sure two 'new' kings show up later with regalia different from the origonal 8. Also from what I've heard, Kazu looks like he may be succeeding spitfire as the flame king.

Hmmm... so Kazu might be the new Flame King... why?
And I don't know is Simca a King/hold a Regalia? I'm pretty sure both Sora and Ikki don't have a Regalia... well at least that I haven't seen yet....
