Don't worry if you don't get the answer, after all, this game (in one of it's earlier incarnations) originally came about as a way to introduce new anime that one has seen and wanted to share with others.....
....of course now it's just a "Stump the others with obscure anime or strange screen shots" game now~<3

Sorry no.
Problem is that after the game ran so long everyone who played often became able to pick off the anime instantly, thus it devolved into its current form.
but anyway here is a hint, it has more in common with anime like Ranma and Tenchi muyo

And it doesn't help that with the "veterans" posting, it'll end up going the way of obscure anime and it scares off any possible newcomers, and even those who attempt to stick around become discouraged after awhile, since it always looks like it's the same old people bouncing "posting rights" around...

Genre-wise? The screen looks rather recent so it doesn't look like a "time period" connection...

Sorry slept in today, no on all accounts. Screen shots for this show are hard to use as they would be generally either easily identifiable or inappropriate for the forum. but I guess it can't be helped.
