Were it America and not Japan, with a vehicle like that I'd hazard a guess that it has to do with soccer moms.

But I haven't the foggiest idea what the show is. alas.

Nope no guesses yet but the style looks similar to Read or Die. But clearly not using anywhere near as much CG at that series. So it's time to look though that animation house's earlier works.

And it might have helped if you had re-posted the post you edited. I know its a little more work but at least then it would have created a new post warning to show something was there to guess on.

As to your guess, Read or Die is an earlier series, though you seem to be in the right ballpark - they do share some behind the scenes things in common.
