Need some advice for Dead Space: Extraction

I just recently picked up this wii game and I'm enjoying it, but there's a bit of a mechanical quirk that's hindering things and I was wondering if anyone could help me? My wiimote's aiming cursor has a weird tendency to 'skip' about on the screen, suddenly jogging left or right without my conscious input, which is rather a disadvantage when you're playing a rail shooter. My settings in the game are the default settings (though I've turned the brightness up a little), and it hasn't done this sort of thing for my other shooters (Red Steel, House of the Dead 2 & 3 collection, House of the Dead: OVERKILL). Can anyone tell me what the problem is?

If it helps, I've found that it doesn't happen if I play while standing up. If I play from a seated position, my normal playing position, then the cursor makes its awkward leaps and skitters. I really am confused by this, as it's never happened with any of my other shooters before.

I figured out what the problem was; Extraction is 'centered' higher than I was used to. I just needed to move the sensor to a lower position and it works fine now.
