What exactly is this "The Bet" series about. When I look at the summaries of the different stories I don't really see any connection between them
And that's the bottom line 'cause Dumbledork said so.

I am, uncertain, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
I believe the connection, was how to change Ranma's life.
I have some evidence to corroborate this.

Chris Leeson wrote:"This is one of the stories in a group called "The Bet", which are a group of alternate universe stories based on changing a single part of the original story. There is a framing story concerning a competition between the gods, but I won't go in to that. Further details on the website."

In all the stories I've seen, the gods are basically every god you've ever heard of, and some you haven't.
The "contest" is presided over by a god named Toltir(sp?), who supposedly looks like a white cat.
The changes are made by bouncing(skipping) a rock on the water of a well, who's name I've forgotten.
Allso in those stories, the idea seemed to be to make the most changes with one stone. (I think there was one where the rock bounced around like a pinball/pachinko ball)
Naval Warrior Lord/Lady of Io.
Schizotechnician.
Thermonuclear Firebug.

You know Mackon, an actual descriptive thread title would have been "Wishing Sword: Ranma wishes for everyone's moms to be there and alive"
That way someone can see if they know the fic without having to read your post.
For voilation of rule 1-K you've been put on warning.
There's a reason we require descriptive thread titles here.

The connections are at the beginning, and some times at the end. You see the story is about Totter the elder god of chaos who takes the form of a cat, and he was board so he gets some other gods and goddess together, and starts what will be called “The Bet”. Basically the Bet is a God, or goddess will make a small change in the time stream , and see ware it go’s.
The story mostly involved Ranma, but their we’re a few others. So dose that answer your quashing.
"When you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all." -God... maybe.

Good and evil are a lot alike the counsel wars. Ware free will is like the 360 in that ever one has it, Good is like Wii because ever one wants to have, or be it, and evil is like the PS3 because they try to get every one to join them but rely their just trying to them selves justify it to them selves by trying to get you.
