Looking for fics where Ranma learns medical skills and becomes a doctor, nurse or a candy striper. What im thinking of, is something like Nabiki's honor by cloud-dreamer where Ranma decides to train as a doctor in the end. Or Chaotic Future by the same auther, in which she becomes a candy striper in the hospital. The newest example I can think of would be What if you had to die to save the world? by krisrat. Please tell me if there are any more.

Heart's Healing Has Ranma run away after Jusenkyo and eventually get found by Dr. Tofu, who later adopts him her. Ranma does go through medical school, And at the point that the fic reached, he's about to open his own practice in the same building his father used to use, AKA in Nerima. Just because he's already married (and his wife actually went to school to become his nurse to ensure that there were no floozies needed) doesn't mean the fur won't fly.

Anyone have a foot extraction method that works? I had hoped to seem encouraging that more might still be able to be found. Sorry about not coming across that way.

Heh, now that really makes me think of Ranma. I guess we both need to remove our foot from our mouth. Im going to leave now before the mod's moan at me for going off topic. If anybody else finds some more fics, thanks.

Spell and grammar checker. If you run your posts through a word processor, you often have a few moments to think What the heck was I saying? Then cut and paste them into the e-mail or posting area.

It's saved me a few times when I wanted to send a flaming e-mail, and had a little time to cool down and make a reasoned argument, instead of a string of expletives.

The rule of thumb about going off-topic is to include something on-topic along with it. If you're going to mention something that has no relation to the first post of the thread, then go out of your way to find something to say that does relate to it.

I recall a fic that was only a couple chapters done, where the first chapter basically had the "mysterious" Dr. Saotome coming out of nowhere during a blackout and restarting a patient's heart. IIRC the second chapter was set in medical school in the past. I forget the title though.
