A not so ideal world as Usagi would like

I´m looking for, preferably well written and lengthy (over 15k words that is) fics where Usagi et co. has to face the facts that naive optimistic idealism doesn´t work, at all. The most it does is to get oneself either killed or in deep trouble.

The fic can be pure SM, but I usually prefer SM crosses, bonus points if its a Ranma-cross.

Well... she certainly seems to be coming to that point in 'The Return'.

As for others, most of the ones to come to mind are dark stories, as it normally takes something fairly traumatic to change her personality that radically. Hmmm...
