Ranma and Hyper Speed GranDoll or Galaxy Fraulein Yuna

I'm uncertain I should bother, considering my past luck with search requests... But here goes anyway.

As the title suggests, I got to thinking after reading a couple of the newer installments in the Pigtailed Loop stories over at TFF.

I've not seen any Ranma and Hyper Speed GranDoll or Ranma and Galaxy Fraulein Yuna crossovers.

So... anyone?

I don't think I've seen anyone ever attempt a Yuna story, let alone a crossover. The closest I ever came was drawing a sketch of Ranma as Yuri.

Can't say that I've looked into the other series, though, so I probably wouldn't recognize any stories that did cross with it, unless the author actually does state it at some point. ^_^;

well, the good news is that i have seen (and in fact own) grandoll.

the bad news: never seen a cross.

the sad: i've toyed with the idea myself, but i'm still putsing away at the third chapter of silent heart... and have a bunch of other half started fics.

maybe, if you want, if you do the gmail thing, maybe you and i can co-author it? XD

I didn't think that anyone would use Galaxy Fraulein Yuna because the only material available in English takes place far after much of what develops in the series. It plays as if the watcher should know its contents well enough, already, from past installments. I have the anime and, even though its been years since I've watched it, I'm pretty sure they all take place long after the series started, and we see a bunch of characters whose origins we learn little about, if not nothing at all. That doesn't exactly lend itself much in the way of inspiration for authors, since authors need information... which Galaxy Fraulein Yuna severely lacks.

Though I could be wrong about the availability, since, like I said, its been years. I wouldn't know the current status of the series.

Hmm... (tries to remember if I have the first PC Engine Yuna game around, somewhere... probably not.)

Maybe I'll consider doing a new Ranma-as-Yuri sketch. Though I can't remember whether or not I'd had Akane in Yuna's place when I created the original sketch... having her be Yuna's a bit more of a stretch.
