There are dozens if not hundreds of crosses out there where Pluto hates or attacks Ranma to preserve Crystal Tokyo.

Is there any fic where Pluto succeeds in killing Ranma and then has to deal with consequences?

Closest I can think of where Ranma doesn't die is Chaotic Future by Cloud Dreamer. Lots of dealing with the fallout of an assassination attempt. But is there anything where Saotome is killed or at least appears to have been?

I have been repeatedly warned away from finishing reading the Jubaan incident so not reading that last short chapter I don't know if the death is to protect the future or not. And really with how much I have been begged to spare my brain with how poorly it was wrapped up I think I'll pass on that one.

Ranma GXP only had 2 lines and 5 total posts last time I looked at it. Thanks for the links. I'm still hoping for something closer where the Senshi have to deal with the Nerima fallout to Ranma not being in the picture though. So please if anyone finds a fic like that or anything even as loosely close as these are post the links.

How about one where she arranges to have Nodoka killed, and Ranma sees it... and has to deal with the fallout of a enraged and determined Ranma, and a curious Ami whom does not understand how it came to this?

The problem with your request, is if you keep them in character, the NWC would be half for, half against, such a act. And no matter how you slice it,t he ones that would be looking for revenge would likely be the weaker of the lot. And would they be able to take on multiple Sailor Senshi? It would be hard to write at best.

Also... from the Senshi's standpoint... no true fan I've ever encountered of Sailor Moon would want to write Usagi having to deal with such a angle. And personally... if using anime continuity, am doubtful she could deal with it, or at least deal in a manner as it should.

Most stories either take the viewpoint of Ranma dealing with the equivelent of a assasin (using his likely terminology) like Phoneix Ranma, or the viewpoint of one or more senshi attempting to figure out why she would do so (XZero's story for one). Or the cliche he is a threat to the timetream/future tokyo and normally follows the outers as a group with sometimes the inners joining.

Another type of take would be a Ranma/SM/Wheel of Time triple crossover with Ranma being banished for 10000 years and Akane and others coping while no one believes them.

Most do not generally eal with Ranma as being dead, and those that do, normally have him elsewhere but believed dead, not dead.

One interesting reverse take on this to come to mind... What if *Moon* kills Ranma (or believe they do in any case), and Pluto was in love with him, and had to deal with the fact they killed a good guy... Try:

I've seen finishing what you start and really wish it would have a sequel so that the stories of the characters could continue.

But really I was thinking of the Nerima situation ending up as another of the NWC gets considered the next minor threat that is causing a risk to CT and through the power vacuum from the lack of Ranma had the situations to make them powerful enough to become the so called threat.

Not so much a case of the Senshi even finding out the situation or thinking about anything to do with Nerima until it's already fighting in their laps.

Well... if that is all you wanted... I have not read it, but know there is a long story out there where Ranma left Nerima, and the chaos stayed, settling on Ryoga and Ukyo, and they had to fend for themselves against it.

Ranma not dead, and no senshi that I can recall... but otherwise would fit those needs. Saw it some 4 years ago I think, but was older than that. Might have been on FF.NET, but I know I saw it on a home page, not FF.NET.

I know. I haven't seen it either but I had hopes someone might have written one like that. I mean the whole Protecting the future angle is used as the excuse so often. But Consequences from one of the most entangled powerful players in a social dynamic being out of the picture causing more problems just never seems to be tried.

Well it doesn't really fit your conditions,

but it's all I could think of that came even remotely close. Well if you think about it, Pluto does succeed in temporarily getting rid of Ranma as a baby, so his parents think he's dead and promptly get busy making a new one to replace him.

However, he doesn't technically get "removed from the picture." He just comes back as a different Ranma: Dark General Ranma.

I think this is made up for a little by the brief glimpse into a time line where Pluto succeeds in killing him, which is just hilarious.
Ranma is killed, but he is infected with T-virus, and comes back at the head of a Zombie Horde. Talk about consequences for Pluto. That would be the ideal rec for this request. Unfortunately it's only a brief mention of an alternate time line.

I know. I've read up to where they have Ranma and then one of his Youma explaining things to the Senshi. After the TV interview. Cologne is upset with them that Ranma and the generals are out to unseat their "Amazon Queen" watching for the updates.

The story is pretty dark at times, but still a good read. Advice: I'd rate it NC17 for violence.
