Ranma and a youma...?

Yeah, it was ages ago when I read what I'm now looking for, so many details escape me. I'm almost certain, though, that it involved a youma becoming good, or something like that, which had something to do with Ranma. Basically, since it's probably very rare, it's probably easier to say that I'm looking for a story where Ranma encounters a youma that he doesn't want to attack or destroy, even if that's not the initial case.

Guess you didn't want the fic where Ryouga and Beneda are the main focus as far as friendly Human Youma relations.

Not giving a link since even though Ranma is part of the reason for Beneda considering going good its mostly Ryouga but Dark Lords of Nerima deserves at least a runner up mention.

I assumed that Dark Lords of Nerima was not the story being looked for because it was mentioned he read it 'ages ago'. While that is relative, I do not consider even chapter 1 to be from 'ages ago'.

I only brought up Ranma because it was relevant to what I was looking for, but if there are other examples of "good" youma then I might be interested. I've heard known about Dark Lords of Nerima for a bit, but I never read it because I wasn't sure if I'd like it or not, based on what little I knew about it. And I wasn't familiar with the author, either, so... *Shrugs*

I've seen several examples of good youma, but most of them fizzled before they really went anywhere. The one where Moon spared a youma for being too pathetic, it swore allegiance to her, and then learned that people would actually pay it to feed on them when it started working as a prostitute was pretty funny. The one where Ranma was sent back in time to get caught in the sealing of the dark kingdom(Pluto was trying to get rid of him) to become one of Beryl's generals had some really good moments, and was doing a good job of making the youma sympathetic to the public(they were winning against the Senshi by pr war, really, especially when they convinced the senshi that none of the generals were willingly serving Beryl), but then it just died, like so many fics.

There is a rather funny Moon/youma scene in Chapter 13 of dogbertcarroll's "A boy in the hand".

Can't remember the name at all, but in one spammie Uranus and Neptune came across a youma that the local girls were using as a slimming aid. I think it ended with them deciding that it was a legit use of youma powers.

Oh, and then there was one youma swore fealty to Moon with the one proviso of name change. The old name? Coprolite. Ick. (For the dictionary-challenged, coprolite is fossilised shit.)

Its fun and weird. But it seems to have gotten caught up in the public story and isn't even really visiting the actual events of the story. Say what's going on with Usagi and the Senshi after finding out how much control Moon can have over the other Senshi.

Hearing of those scenarios makes me wonder if there's a story out there where a youma becomes the heroine of the story. Whether it's Ranma or not. I know I just recently came across a story where Ranma's mother was one of Jadeite's youma, which made Ranma half-youma.

There is also one, can't think of the name right now, where Ranma was in the dark kingdom and him and couple youma survived after moon blew it up, and he formed a cover as a circus or travelling act to keep them moving, give them a money stream, and keep a low profile from others.

In it, Gosenkuji summoned a demon to beat up Kuno so he could not interfere with a date between him and Akane...

The scouts arrive on the scene of the fight, and people are disappointed that the senshi were going to stop it... After confirming the summoned Youma was neither going to drain nor kill kuno, just beat him up, and grumbling about setting a bad precedent, the senshi grudgingly agree to let the youma continue to beat up Kuno.

The youma is later praised, not just by the crowd, but by his superiors, for surviving an encounter with the Senshi without any fighting amongst them having occured.

Summoned in episode 156509. Go forward from there as it goes across a couple episodes.

As I stop to think, this happens in one of my stories: Different Colors. Ranma meets Rhett Butler, one of the Seven Great Youma from the first season of the Sailor Moon anime. And after a bit of a rocky start, they get on surprisingly well.
