This forum, like some others out there (ex. TFF), has rules in place to limit the type of stories that can and should be linked in a post. Normally, that would be either too sexual (ex. lemon) or other extreme graphic content (ex. torture). I tend to err on the side of caution when I think it might come into conflict, to prevent possible trouble with either fellow forum members, or the mods.
For such stories, when I bother to list them, I give all the information for a person to search for it on their own by listing series, title, author, when I got it, status of it if known, ect... But will not list the link itself. I will almost always post it as: 'Link Withheld Due To Content'
The only other instance is if I myself do not have the link, but am aware of the story or have it on my hard drive. In which case, I list the information with: 'No known valid link'
That particular story gets very graphic at points. It's quality is so-so, and not as good as some of the others I listed, but it is the content that caused me to not post the link. While I might be able to post it with no repercussions, since I am not the one to decide that, I prefer not to.
