After reading a good Ranma x Ikkitousen crossover on the anime addventure forums, I find myself on a bit of a binge for other crossovers of similar ilk.

Basically Ranma is crossed with a series that's heavily engrossed in martial arts or fighter tournaments.

I have some disqualifiers though.

-The first one is no Naruto crosses please. We'd flood the forum if those were added :wink:

-Second, anything less than 10k words should not be mentioned. This thread is for lengthy fics of reasonably good quality or better.

As I am currently too lazy to find the link, there is another AA thread called 'Combined Arts'. Crosses with Love Hina and Tenjo Tenge, interesting and well written.

There's another I would recommend, but the 'Coupled Union' thread focuses more on Romance than Action.

So, assuming that the thread you mentioned happens to be 'The Fate of the Sacred Bead', JAWESOME thread series BTW, then that's just about what I got on AA alone, for now. FFnet would be more cumbersome, though checking Ranmafics for some could also help.

Sigh, nvm, here's 'Combined Arts'. Might need to go back some to understand the story, somewhat... WARNING: Lemony in some parts.

Hmmm... fighting (as in a story going from fight to fight), or fighting tournaments/contests/series duals?

In any case, the above AA threads would have been among the first off top of head.

Another to have occured would be Ranma/Dead or Alive. But the main one I can think of ('Doaran' by IronRaptr9241) has only a prologue rewrite on FF.NET, and the rest (some 7 chapters worth) was removed.

claihm solais has a two arc series called 'For the Sake of the Art' and 'The Longest Journey', the 2nd arc has a fighting tournament style in it.

Would Ranma/Revolutionary Girl Utena crosses count? Most are too small, but two would be over the size minimum.

There is some tournament style fighting bits in R-NEGIMA 'Ranma x Negima-Ranma's White Wings' by Dreamingfox. But it is not what you traditionally consider a fighting anime.

Also not a tournament style anime, but Ranma/Tenchi Muyo story called 'Lost and found' by Law-kun has Ranma and Tenchi at a tournament, in fact, a couple others do as well.

There is also at least one Ranma/DBZ cross to come to mind with fighting contests.

I'm preferably looking for martial arts tournament fics though I'm also interested in Ranma crosses with series that have a heavy martial arts theme.

So the City of Hero's cross isn't quite what I'm looking for (Even though it's a good story and I wish Agnostics Puppet would update it

)

I've never actually read any Utena crosses before. I'm intrigued. Please post them if you would PCHeintz.

As for City of Heros. I agree... I wonder why he stopped, he was putting out previews on TFF, then all the sudden no more.

There's a neat crossover among Ranma/Utena/Buffy/Samurai Cat. It's by Sho-i Tanaka, and called Shojo Kakumei Ukyo. The question of how well a spatula fares against a sword in the duel for the Rose Bride is a matter of minor importance ...

Nabiki 1/2 "(aka A Very Scary Thought) has large arc with Street Fighter and another with Darkstalkers. One of the main characters is an OC who turns out to be Guile's daughter...

Of course the story is very looooong, and it takes a while to get there (save the OC).
