I posted in the ideas thread suggesting a way to lock Ranma female and end up as an Aunt to future Tendo offspring. I was kinda wondering are there any fics out there where Ranma-chan is a Female role model to young kids. Even if they aren't related. Mentoring or even just taking care of younger girls while a girl herself.

Ehhh... these are not that uncommon.

R-SM 'Spoiled Brats' technically applies (it is currently in preview here).

R-SM 'Age of Titans' by Ozallos would as well... at least until she started explaining to Ami how not to scare off boys... sniggers.

R-NGE 'For the Sake of the Children' by Deranged Otaku I think would qualify.

EDIT:

R-SM 'Strained Harmony' by Josh Temple-Trimatter also comes to mind.

Far more occur to me if you are cosidering a non-locked dual role mode... for example a bunch come to mind just with him as Hotaru's teacher.

Ranma doesn't have to be locked. I'd just prefer seeing ones where Ranma is a Female role model. I don't see much of Male Ranma that is worth being a similar mentor. Lets face it, reading the Manga Ranma doesn't seem to try to think as much when male and fights a bit more.

There is Kevin D. Hammel's On Her Own which was inspired by Jeff Hosmer's Amazons.

Kevin's fic had Ranma's cursed locked soon after getting it by the Musk. Ranma gets taken in by the Amazons and after a while strikes out on her own. After getting seriously injured while saving a village from some nasty men, she spends her time recovering with one of the village families. Soon after Ranma's recovery her hosts are killed in an accident and Ranma takes on the task of raising their now orphaned daughter as her own.

Kevin's fanfic page has gone hasta-la-bye-bye but I do have a copy of the fic.

It counts. I kinda wish the fic were continued though. You can still find those sobahranch or however it was spelled pages through archive.org

would it be possible to get some pointer where to find this one ? tried my google fu both on fanfiction.net and old google and could only get the 4 first chapters, but it seems it was a little longer than that (and I only found those under the name of Anand Rao, which should be his old pen name ?)

Actually... it was at least eight chapters (nine per the link, but I never found that 9th one)... and Deranged Otaku was one of the author's Pen names, i think he changed it 2 or 3 times over the years, could be wrong.

In any case, try this *old* internet archive link... very slow, but was working for me just now when I checked it.

Three Dates chapter of On Her Own never got past being a Teaser. And that was posted almost 10 years ago now? Give or take 7 weeks.
