I'm wondering just how many fics are out there where Ranma falls into a spring that sure still makes him a girl but not a human girl.

The change still has to come from the spring. I know there are many where Ranma changes species after the fact. Not looking for those this time.

Just to help make this request more clear, are human-looking (a (half-)demon like Inu-Yasha, or a Mazoku like Xellos) and humanoid (non-human ears, tail and a few other features, up to "furry") applicable? I want to know where the line between human and non-human is drawn.

That is really too broad... we've seen plenty of stories with female Vampires, female Sayigans, Succubus, even Washu and/or Ryoko. We've seen Phoneix tribe as well.

There is probably a couple hundred stories that could be linked.

I know I've read a few but I'm having a heck of a time finding them. And it can look completely human like Jurians so long as the form is Not Human.

All my searches trying to find any where Ranma actually comes out of the spring as the non-human female ends up leaving me with other results where the species change happens later or Ranma wasn't Human even before the spring not fully and didn't know it. It was frustrating so because I can't remember the titles I made this search.

Edit: The fact of not being human because of the effects of Jusenkyo has to have some point in the story. If I could remember some details about the specific fics I'm trying to remember I would have searched with those. Sadly I've read too much and they are muddled with other stories I can name and clearly don't have the things I am thinking of in them.

Narsil AKA Anduril only seems to have addventure stories. And the stories all seem to still go further on the addventure site. I read Narsil's A Different Curse AKA Naive Succubus (Start of Chain) along with allot more on the other site last night. Thanks for adding to the list.

You can probably see now how its harder to track these down. There are so few where Ranma only gets a single curse and ends up Female with a change in species.

If Ranma had been Luna in Kenko's Cats it would have fit.

I'm sure I'm forgetting a huge number of fics that qualify, especially the ones involving Ranma as a female vampire where I lost the links. But, here goes.

Well, there's Ranma the Catgirl by chrono 9999 where the Neko-ken interferes with the curse immediately and we get a female kitty-girl. On the same subject there is Neko by Angel Frog which is much longer and better written. There are numerous other fics I have read where similar interactions occur.

Okami by Everybeast is the only cross I've ever read between Ranma and the Okami videogame. It is very well done.

Saiyajinnyannichuan – Spring of drowned female Saiyan by Trugeta is a well written version of Ranma as a female Saiyan.

The Rebirth of the Daimakaicho by Deathgeonous and the fic he revised into it involve Ranma falling into Spring of Drowned Hild but not unlocking the power until Saffron.

I can think of a few that might qualify that are cabbit forms that he eventually feminizes. I can post links to them if you like but I'm pretty sure they were all posted in recent topics here.

If Jurian female counts as separate then Jurian Stallion by CA3D-Tweakmist counts where he falls into the spring of drowned Yosho's daughter. However, that's severely stretching it. Something similar could be said for "Tenchi and Ranma: Together Forever" but I forget the author and the link. Neither story really makes much use of the alien nature from the spring though.

Okami doesn't quite fit sadly. If you read it. The medallion used to assist the pregnancy caused what would have been a more direct reincarnation to be born male. So really the non-human aspect there was something suppressed since birth and not from the spring.

Just like the Neko-ken interference could be seen as Ranma not entirely human before hand. The Neko aspect didn't come from the spring.
