What really sucks is any time someone mentions a Proteus Fic searching for it and its one I liked it turns out to be because its one the guy deleted! Its not Fair!

It is actually surprising, considing how long it has been, just how often I see searches and requests for Proteus's stuff...
He regrettibly had the nasty habit of deleting nearly everything as he lost interest in or wanted to rewrite... A pity, except some editing and cleanup, most were quite good.
'Can't Change Your Spots' (R-GD) was some 5.5+ years ago (at least for me to first read it). And 'Two in One' (R-TM) has been 7 years and 1 week.
It is a shame though of all the other ones he did that no one brings up, or they've been forgotten... Like 'Tenken' (R-RK-OMG)(something like 3 versions he made), or 'A Match Made In Heaven' (R-OMG) or 'Promises to Keep' (R-OMG) or 'Runs in the Family' (R-TM).
Likewise, I see requests for 'It's A Dog's Life' (R-IY), but almost never 'Unfinished Business' (R-IY).
It is not like he is exactly dead either... unless someone using his name, he contributed with the 'Ryozanpaku Ranma' thread on the AA.
