I thought that it might be interesting to create a topic to collect/search for what people regard as their favourite completed fan fictions they've read, an exception is also made for fan fiction having at least one complete self-standing story arc/book. It would also be helpful to label them based on series(i.e. Ranma, Sailor Moon...etc) and categories(i.e. fukufic, Ranma locked/cured, dark, Humour pairings...etc) . Later if this topic gets enough replies I'll tally up the results and edit this post and add a Top Ten/Five recurring favorites list underneath this sentence based on a tally count of how many people post a fanfic as their favorite.

One problem with threads like this is many people do not remember or do not know what fics are completed.

Another is the concept of a compiled top 20... top 20 by the opinion of whom exactly? My top 20 would not really be yours, or anyone elses.

And another is by what criteria, length, quality, plot, crossover they are judged?

Of all the stories I track, only some 392 are completed Ranma stories.

I was going to count the number of times a fic appeared on this thread, but I guess that's not really practical since I guess most people wouldn't add fics appearing on someone else's post if they checked first, but maybe I could still manage a top five. But like previously said it really depends on the number of replies and I'll admit its a pretty basic way of judging and may not do the fanfics justice. If this topic does turn out to be a bad idea it'll eventually just fad back into obscurity with no harm done.

My favorite has to be Ranma and Akane: A Love Story. It's not finished, but the first story arc is, and it's a healthy book on its own. Consider this, perhaps, as the first book in a series.

One of my favorites is Process of Elimination. (Genre: dark; action/adventure; drama. It's a multi-crossover with Ranma as the protagonist.) Some others have already been mentioned, so I thought I'd toss that out there, for now, unless I can think of another one that hasn't been mentioned.

None of my actual favorites have been completed. Things have had arcs complete but the story hasn't actually been completed on most of them.
