I'm not entirely sure how you mean.... you mean if one was hurt, he would help until the senshi was well enough to fight? Or you mean they die and he take their place?

Both but I like the first one better. I just didn't want to count out the second one. Oh and I'd like it if they didn't end up like Hotaru in a few fics dead in early childhood. Its not much of a Senshi replacement if the person being replaced never got to be a Senshi due to dieing too soon.

Edit: Here is a good Runner up story that is the closest I've seen to being a replacement without the current Senshi being out of action Ranma 1/2 Moon by Resop Strange thing there Ranma is a second Sailor Moon in it.

Well, there's always Ten of Two, by Togashi Gaijin, where Ranma replaces the entire Senshi corps.... I have the fic as far as it goes, but it is a deadfic.

I found another one. archived Nibun no Senshi Sailor Moon has Ranma taking the place of Sailor Moon Its a nearly lost fic by The Eternal Lost Lurker and it was never carried over to any of the incarnations of the Lurkerdrome. I wish it would be picked up again and continued but even the Lurkerdrome is gone for now.

Not sure if it counts, but Ranma fills in for the inner senshi in Journey, by DrunkenGrognard, while they are "out of town," on a "training trip."

I sent you Ten of Two and his other fic in a RAR archive in various formats. If the hastily created PDFs don't work Calibre's built in reader will work for the EPUB/LRF/MOBI files also included in the hastily thrown together RAR arhive.
