Nabiki spots talent & Ranma is his own sister

It took me a bit to figure out how to cram two vague-ish ideas of what I'm looking for in the subject rather than saying, "looking for two stories..."

Anyway, as for the first one, I was wondering if there are any stories where, when Ranma first arrives, Nabiki sees the potential in making Ranma a model, movie star, pop idol, et cetera right off of the bat. Basically, it's just taking the initiative in what tends to happen later on during the canon story, or after the canon story, in fan-fiction stories.

The other is a specific story that suddenly came to mind. I think I came across it recently but passed it up because my attention had prioritized something else, and like an idiot I forgot to bookmark it for later. The story I'm referring to probably has to do with a wish, where Ranma ends up being a girl living with his mother (Nodoka, of course) while her brother (who may not look exactly like how she did as a boy) is on the training trip with Genma, which is just about to end by the time the story starts, and it's not long before they arrive. I can't remember the name of it for the life of me.

In Saiyajinnyannichuan – Spring of drowned female Saiyan by Trugeta Nabiki immediately gets Ranma agree to be a model to help bring in some cash for the dojo. As is probably obvious from the title, this is primarily a DBZ cross. It appears to be discontinued.

While I can't remember the name of the story I pretty sure that it had a sequel called "Worse".

You're thinking of SKJAM's Sequence, and its 'sequel,' Worse. (Worse isn't entirely a continuation of Sequence, IMHO, as there are some details in Sequence that aren't carried over to Worse.)

Unfortunately, I don't have any links for either story, at the moment - and I think most of the links out there won't have all of the installments Scott posted for Worse. The FFML archives might have them.

I remember one where Ranma died and was then shuffled back in time to be Genma and Nodoka's second child but ended up being a daughter. She made sure that 'Ranma' had a better life and still had all her passion for martial arts while 'Ranma' didn't and was pretty normal. Genma was reluctant to train her though and Nodoka wanted a very traditional daughter but she realized her passion for the art but there was little she could do. Believe that was an AA thread but I can't find it and I looked for a hour or so.

So I guess I would not expect much else from that quarter.

I think I read that one again a few months back... Well, I suppose it can't hurt to look it over again. XD

I vaguely recall a story like that, but I don't think it was an AA storyline. It was ages ago since I read it... If I felt like spending the time looking through Penultimate alphabetically, I bet I could find it there.

Wasn't that actually "Ranko's Life S," as it was an unofficial continuation of Hitomi Ichinohei's story by the same name? (Hitomi also continued for another part or two, as I recall.)

According to the authors notes he came up with the idea and she wrote the first bit and then he did the second half...Otherwise no clue.
