Yeah, this was exactly what i was talking about. The SM girls, most of the time they´re totally unimpressive compared to the Ranma cast, but the few times they do things like the above, that´s when they show that they´re actually waaay ahead of the Ranma cast in sheer potential power level.

The example is flawed in the fact that your example is showing just how bad they need training to prevent such accidents... If they can only get such power during accidents and not on demand... they will lose, badly. Skill trumps power with no training.

This example makes her no more than a strong thug.

Hmmmm... You know, I find it hard to compare the sailor senshi to martial artists in Ranma 1/2, not just because they're in different leagues, power-wise, but what they do is on a different scale, too. For instance, a sailor senshi's purpose is to protect a celestial object, like a moon or planet. There are at least four examples of sailor senshi who by themselves have the power to eliminate all life on a planet, or destroy it utterly (Moon/Chibi Moon (if the Ginzuishou can be used for such a purpose), Saturn, Galaxia and Chaos). Sailor senshi can fly, teleport, survive in space, and can't die with age. And (in the manga) each senshi usually has the power to take out all but Chaos with one good hit.

Their physical strength, agility and resistance to physical attacks isn't so clear-cut, as far as I know. I suppose that might be enough of an unknown to give martial artists a chance against sailor senshi, though probably only with the element of surprise.
