As the question states. Would it be interesting to have Kasumi cut her hair short in a fic?! In all my reading I don't think i've EVER seen this done before!?

Sure, if there's a decent reason for her hair being shorter. If it's short just because the author says so, then, no. I wouldn't care if that were the case.

There's no reason why not, but I certainly wouldn't want to see it. I think Kasumi's long hair is one of her best features.

Voted No... Mostly because I can't see a reason for her to cut it. So if there is no plausible reason it shouldn't be done.
That's not to say I wouldn't read a fic that does cut the hair. Provided it's back-story is entertaining. It's just not that I would like to challenge someone to actually write one

Well Yeah. I mean just to see it happen in a fic. Not to write an entire fic about it or something. But have it cut for a plausible reason. The same reason Akane got her's cut wouldn't be too bad in all actuallity.

no, No, NO!!! I honestly see no way that Kasumi would be Kasumi withouth the long hair. The way I see it, that would be the same as telling Belldandy to cut her hair. Or Mitsumi (Love Hina). Or Mizuho-sensei (Onegai Teacher/Twins). Or...well, you get the idea. :evil:

Besides, I'm a fan of Long Hair.!!!

There is a brief scene with Kasumi in C.Jones 'newRanma' where Kasumi has short hair and is wearing a miniskirt.
She took Nabuki coming out as a lesbian very badly.
